MARK HAIR [ V1 ]

Messy hair with a small ponytail for your male Sims. I’m planning to do a second version with a ( slightly bigger ) bun but I just had to use this cute ponytail that came with the Dine Out EP. A big thank you to @clumsyalienn for allowing me to use some parts of her meshes in this.

Some general information:

teen male - elder male ( I didn’t test it on female Sims so it might not look good on them )

not hat compatible ( one day I’ll figure out how to make my hairs hat compatible but today is not the day )

the LODs are kinda high poly ( 16488 on all ) because I couldn’t make them look good on lower settings )

nimpa hair;

Not that particularly interesting tbh, but here it is since some people seemed to like it! It’s quite literally just an edit of my Diwata hair but it’s like flipped so the tucked part is on the other side so like there’s that. It’s also a little bit longer?

Fun fact! ‘nimpa’ is the tagalog translation to the word, ‘nymph’. I’ve sorta kinda already explained above why it’s named this way in the last paragraph lmao.

anino turtleneck;

I really wanted to make a turtleneck sort of top for a while and this is the best that I could do and I’m actually really happy with how it looks! I also found out how to effectively hide necklaces and wrist accessories while I was making this so that was super cool!

Fun fact! I named it ‘anino’ because I was just staring blankly at my shadow while I was thinking of things to name this top lmao.

BRAID & TWIST OVERLAY FOR ENRIQUES4 HAIR

I made a super cool overlay for black sims that turns hairs made by @enriques4​ into braids and twists! I tested it out on 35 different hairs and the majority of them worked well with little to no issues. You can absolutely try it on hairs that aren’t by Enrique, but I can’t promise that it will look good since I made it to fit his hairs specifically. Please protect our trans people! Especially our BLACK trans people! Black transgender people have an extremely high unemployment rate at 26 percent, two times the rate of the overall transgender sample and four times the rate of the general population. A startling 41 percent of Black respondents said they had experienced homelessness at some point in their lives, more than five times the rate of the general U.S. population. Black transgender people lived in extreme poverty with 34 percent reporting a household income of less than $10,000 per year. This is more than twice the rate for transgender people of all races (15 percent), four times the general Black population rate (9 percent), and eight times the general U.S. population rate (4 percent). Black transgender people were affected by HIV in devastating numbers. More than one-fifth of respondents were living with HIV (20.23 percent), compared to a rate of 2.64 percent for transgender respondents of all races, 2.4 percent for the general Black population, and 0.60 percent of the general U.S. population.

From education to employment and housing discrimination, from police brutality to health care disparities, Black transgender people are suffering at extremely high rates due to bigotry and transphobia. Nearly half of all Black transgender respondents report being harassed at work and at school. Twenty-six percent are unemployed and 34 percent report annual incomes of less than $10,000 per year. These numbers are appalling and these living conditions are unacceptable for any human being — gender conforming or not.  

The black community particularly has a tendency to turn a blind eye to the hate that trans people get. We as a community are being discriminated against daily, and yet we can be the main ones who discriminate our OWN people sometimes. If Black lives matter, then ALL BLACK LIVES should matter. Yes, that includes all the QUEER and non-conforming lives as well.
