Onyx Storm Spoilers - theories I like that I've heard others say, mostly from booktok.

He's calling her "love" to remind himself he's still capable of love. And/or that love is his grounding feeling. (This hurts, a lot, that poor man just wants to love and worship her and he's suffering and I hate it)

Papa Sorrengail's research wasn't on hatchlings, it was on the irids. (Makes sense with what we know now. However, why would they have spoken to him?)

The "it's yours now" isn't Tyrrendor. Tyrrendor is referred to as she, especially by Xaden. "It's" is his soul. People generally also think his soul is in the emerald in her ring. (Back and forth on this one. Like it, but how does one put a soul in a ring?) - (If true, then Bodhi isn't the new "brother", Bodhi will be stuck running Tyrrendor, and probably Garrick then who turned)

Sgaeyl broke the mating bond with Tairn. (Why Tairn is sleeping at the end. This makes sense cause if Xaden left with Sgaeyl, how else would he be able to stay away and Sgaeyl not be in pain after a few days/week.)

"Riders are only burned if they commit high treason or break the codex" Andarna saying "I will not let them burn you." So Violet did high treason or broke the codex most likely.

This is soooo true. The constant theme of control throughout the books. But then it's actually about choice.

Which could also play into Violet and the dedication stuff. She didn't have a choice, her dad made it (partially). But now will she make that choice for herself?

Onyx Storm Spoilers

It’s so beautifully devastating how in the end Xaden DIDN’T lose control. He made a CHOICE. to save the people he loves, that Violet loves, to save SGAEYL. He decided this thing that would irreversibly damn him, that would probably steal his very SELF was an acceptable price to pay so long as those people, and especially Sgaeyl and Violet, his girls, were okay.
