LGBT-TV SHOW RECS

Hey, for those of you who need to watch some good lgbt-stuff after this whole queerbaiting mess, I can recommend you some gay TV shows and even BL Dramas that might help you cleanse your soul after Voltron.

TV SHOWS:

- “Sense 8”

The best show on this fucking planet.

- “Brooklyn 99”

I have only watched season 1 but it’s sO GOOD

- “How To Get Away With Murder”

plss, this show is so amazing and you have some really fucking amazing lgbt characters!!

- “Queer Eye”

I don’t rlly have to say much here lmao. Probably the gayest and most perfect show to watch after this mess that Voltron was.

- “Black Lightning”

Haven’t personally watched this one yet, but a friend of mine is a big fan of it, so go check it out!!

- “Hannibal”

Hannibal is my favorite fucking show of all time. The romance between Will and Hannibal is fucking real and no queerbaiting. I mean, their relationship is quite complicated but sO WELL DONE. Plus you have a healthy lesbian couple. This show is the fucking best and I hope they make season 4 as soon as possible.

- “Skam”

You’re missing out if you haven’t watched this show yet!! It’s sooo well done.

- “Shadowhunters”

Haven’t personally watched this one either but a lot of people always tell me too, so I guess I should include it.

- “Shameless”

Boyyy, Shameless is a wild ride but so fun to watch! Ian and Mickey will always have a place in my cold, gay heart.

- “Eyewitness”

Haven’t watched this one YET either, but again, a lot of people tell me that it’s really good so I wajt to include it as well.

BL (BOYS LOVE) DRAMAS:

(Note: I know, a lot of people have some prejudices when it comes to asian dramas. But I promise you, the dramas I will list here will make you fall in love.)

- “SOTUS”

Sotus is probably one of the best shows I’ve ever watched. I’m not even kidding. The main romance between Arthit and Kongpob is SO WELL DONE. It’s so realistic and sweet. This one is so fucking worth watching. You have 2 more gay romances in this show plus one lesbian character. Please watch it, srsly. You’ll thank me later.

- “HIStory2: Crossing the line”

This one was the first ever BL Drama I’ve watched but it made me fall in love with the whole concept of “BL Dramas”. Yes, this one is quite cliché at some point, but it’s just..so fucking sweet and the two main characters are sO FUCKING SWEET, I can’t. They have so much chemistry and you could fucking die from all the heart eyes the two main characters throw at each other the whole time. The one thing I love most about this show is, that there’s zero homophobia in it. Plus no annoying girlfriend. It’s just sweet and pure gay love, oof.

- “Together with me”

THIS ONE!!!! Oh boy, oh boy. The one thing that this show has is CHEMISTRY. The two main character Korn and Knock have so much fucking chemistry, mostly because the actors are just as close as the characters they play. This one gets quite steamy tho. It even starts off with a sex scene. But that’s really not all this show is. This show is about love and friendship and the characters are just so well done and their relationship is oof, soo good.

- “2Moons”

Ohhhh, this one’s all sweet and pure. It’s full of the typical clichés tho, which i don’t mind too much honestly. Sometimes we need that lmao. I honestly enjoyed the “backround” romance between Kit and Ming more than the main romance between Pha and Wayo, but maybe that’s just me. It’s rlly pure and perfect to watch if you just need some easy and gay love for your soul.

- “Lovesick”

Just started this one but I already love it! The two main character are so sweet and pure and aHH, can’t wait to finish this one, srsly.

- “Kiss me again”

This show has (I think) three storylines and one of them is between two guys and how they fall in love. I just skipped the straight storylines cos they were super boring, but the gay one I quite enjoyed. This one’s totally not comparable to any of the others I included, but i thought I should write it down anyway for those of you who have already watched the other ones and need more fuel, haha.

I would include “Addicted” too, but that one is just quite abusive and I wouldn’t really recommend it.
