Gosh, I try to do that too, but I admittedly give in a little too much when I promise myself something at the end of the day. :’)) I had to do a lot of overhaul feeling like I had enough time that I could get around to doing something I like. Yo!! Ok, goblincore back again, I’ll use this emoji 💚 though to make life easier ! I just have a lotta thoughts !!! Could you imagine having a lazy day in bed with Kenma? Like on phones or video games, limbs tangled together or laying on each other in silence and showing him funny videos you find?? If you ask him he’ll tell you about the game he’s playing, it can be anything from lore to battle tactics or even talking trash about Kuroo and Yamamoto! Immaculate!! I don’t know why but I’ve been thinking about him a lot recently and I felt like you would enjoy it too !

“Geez, how much gamer juice can you guzzle in a day?”

The statement is quietly rejected in favor of downing the water you had recently handed Kenma. With the state his room had been in hours earlier, you’re surprised  he doesn’t just throw the glass to the side with the expectation that he’ll get to it later. Rather, he leaves half for you and you lean into the bed to accept it. The water is smooth, crisp, and gone in mere moments.

“I’ll go get another cup,” you declare, though he has already leaned towards the warmth radiating from your core. You know his hands must be cold again, from holding that Switch up in the dimly lit room just to ruin his eyes. Some part of you feels guilty for attempting to launch yourself from the perch on the bed to fetch another cup of water. But when you set out to do so, you are comforted by the fact that Kenma’s arms are suddenly wrapped around you; the Switch deposited in your lap. 

You gaze questioningly down at the boy pressed flush against you. His face is pushed into your side, nearly tucked right into your armpit. The warmth of his breath and the heat of his cheeks fills your stomach with feathers. 

“Mountain dew,” he groans, zombie-like in his intensity, and you can’t help breaking into laughter as you narrowly deposit the glass on his nightstand. His identical snickers are sputtered into your side and your laughter can only build, whereas his does too, into a circular loop. The giggles are never-ending till the pillows blanket your fall backwards, and he is still tucked under your arm with a leg thrown over your torso as though you are a sturdy branch and he is a three-toed sloth. 

Here, he implores just as quietly as before, “okay, but can’t you turn on Skyrim? I want to watch you play it again.”

hey, folks! its been a few days since i’ve been on; i just wanted to do an update! i’m gonna get to my inbox sometime this week hopefully (i see that message, anon. ily) <33 but i’m also planning to organize my profile a lil more soon so it’ll be easier to access my content, leave asks, etc. 

(tw: guilt-tripping, & just men, generally) i had a really bad night yesterday. suffice to say, the first and last time i spent time with a man one on one. im super pissed about it, because he guilt-tripped me into hanging out with him one on one anyway ‘cause he didn’t have any ‘friends.’ yeah, no fucking duh you don’t have any friends.

anyway, i could rant about THAT all day. the point is,, im thinking about making a goshiki/ushiwaka x reader smau w/ well, i feel like i’d spoil it; but aged-up sugar daddy ushiwaka & annoying best friend goshiki (still workshopping the goshiki part). i’m not certain about it though, so let me know if yall would be interested babes! <3

so, i have no doubt that he would be completely head over heels for a significant other with a goblincore aesthetic.

he’s sitting on your front door step waiting for you to come outside as you slip on a raincoat (if you remember a raincoat) and as soon as you open the door, he’s grinning from ear to ear.

he had no doubt you would be coming outside as soon as you woke up to the pouring rain. 

though he texted you anyway, just to be sure.

you’re squatting on the side of the road, freaking tf out bc you thought you heard a meow from the sewer. but you just finished watching It the other day.

yes, he jumps on you and ya’ll are both rolling around in the little ravines, soaked with water. 

but now he’s the one freaking tf out when the thunder suddenly rumbles -- and then you hear the meow again.

turns out you spend the rest of your day trying to find a way to get into the sewer, because you are both certain that there’s a cat down there.

ya’ll are hiking into the sewer, all suited up, ready for sewer-war ig. (if it weren’t for a neighbor, you both would have gone in in tennis shoes.)

turns out that neighbor also works smarter, not harder. 

you’re halfway in when ya’ll freak and bolt out the way you came to find that your neighbor stuck a plank into the sewer and a cat has carried her kitten out.

basically, are both irresponsible goblin cat parents now.

i know what you’re thinking. yes, ik what you’re thinking. ushiwaka? adoring a significant other with an aesthetic like that? 

the answer is yes. i mean, he and tendou are best friends, first of all. second of all, he needs someone energetic and adventurous and you need someone grounded and practical. and opposites most definitely attract.

the first time he remembers seeing you is when you’re squatting near the sidewalk, peering at an area ripe with roly-polies. 

you are right up in their grill when he walks by, peering over at what you’re doing without so much as a word. he nearly chuckles, like straight-up chuckles. but before he can, he’s gone. 

the next time, he’s walking back home after practice because he missed the bus. and it’s pouring. yes, even the great ushiwaka gets unlucky.

he is completely blown away by the familiar figure splashing in the storm. he doesn’t know what the hell you’re doing until he passes you on the sidewalk once more.

and you splash him. all over his clothes. the pure shock and fear that crosses your face? priceless. if he were anyone else, he’d be on the floor laughing.

no, he just smiles instead and attempts to shake the water off his clothes as though he isn’t already soaked when it’s raining sideways and his umbrella is tiny.

he offers his umbrella, and however many years later, he can’t help smiling every time you insist on making a bug-utopia on the back porch or return home soaked to the bone -- pretending like you didn’t dally outside and count the seconds between thunder booming and lightning striking.

he genuinely loves it, loves you, really; always happy to generate cuddles when you hunker down at a window and watch the rain pour.
