"The Ugandan Tales" is a book of poetry about the struggles of African people who are living amongst post independence African rulers who preach freedom and emancipation, but have turned into oppressors. The poems lift the voices of people who seek to reassert their rights against an intransigent regime that is determined to keep them oppressed. "The Ugandan Tales" chronicles everyday struggles that are faced at the hands of African oppressors. Through peaceful and non violent means, a new generation of people are now taking a stand against social, political and economic segregation. April 8th, 2022 we will be serving 500 plus students with thousands of free books, bags and educational materials! This fun filled literary day will feature free books, literary games, a DJ, Musical Performances, and much much more. Students are encouraged to give back by donating a book towards our Sephyl Learning Center book drive as we shall be sending these books to a small village elementary school in Ghana.
