Hello gentiles I come bearing another announcment!

Do not wish Jews a "happy Yom Kippur." Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year and the Day of Atonement. It's a day where we fast (if we choose to and are able), and ask for forgiveness from God and those around us for our wrongdoings of the past year. Saying "happy Yom Kippur" is inappropriate due to the nature of the holiday. If you know someone fasting, wishing them an easy fast is appropriate and traditional.

Not to be. Dark. But it's almost a better situation to be one of the dead kids instead of one of the missing ones right now. Assuming the Feds really did leave the dead eggs alone, their parents know where they are. And yes, the grief hurts like Hell, and yes they still wish for ways to get them back but at least their kids are free of harm. But the missing kids? Their parents don't know anything, if they're safe or hurt, dead or alive, hatched or not. And that not knowing is probably the worst thing in the world, having to stand on the line between hope and despair like that. It's an endless cycle of thinking maybe everything will turn out ok and lashing out because there's no way it'll turn out fine. And who's to say if that your kid returns, they won't be scarred by their experiences? And if even by some miracle, which don't happen on this island, they returned as if nothing happened, the deterioration of relationships and hurtful things the players said and did to each other still exist. There's just no winning.

Hi! Just at a curiosity- I don’t personally worship either but considering Lilith is closed practice- would you say the same for Lucifer ?!

I don’t really understand Lucifer too well as an entity I would ask Christian sources. Some people interpret him like the Jewish Samael who is more “morally grey” in our human standards by punishing evil, some consider him to be a being of all evil which worshipping would be akin to worshipping Lilith or Apep.

At the end because of the fact Christianity colonized so many cultures and tore apart so many people go wild about it I don’t really care that much.

Genuine question, 100%. How is Lilith a closed practice when she is a deity older than the Abrahamic religions? (Christianity/Judaism) Lilith is one of the Mesopotamian/Sumerian goddesses next to Innana. Judaism quite literally came after the Mesopotamian belief system.

Lilith is the jewish demon, Lilitu, Lilu, and Lili, whom you are referring to is an older incarnation of which I cannot speak much of, but is usually depicted as equally evil and imo should not be really worshipped but! I don’t know if they’re closed or not so yanno if they aren’t I can’t stop anyone.

Also from my few minutes of research a good amount of early Sumerian “Lilith” statues and icons are actually just Ishtar. There’s not as much about pre-Judaism Lilith as one may think.

Just because it has an older root does not mean that specific subsets are closed. Voodoo often has many Christian roots but it is closed.
