          SHE WAS AN EASILY ANNOYED person and everyone who had known her for more than 5 minutes knew that. impatience was an unflattering, unladylike trait ( or so her parents had told her ), but it was what audrey felt as she stood behind a man twice her size holding up the line, cussing out the barista for not having given him 2% foam like he had asked ( and who the hell measured the amount of foam in percentages anyway? ), and though rey felt annoyed at the man for being a NUISANCE, she felt bad for the poor guy behind the counter who seemed more distressed than the customer at hand. «yah!» the informal word left her before she could think twice, but at least it got his attention. «it’s just coffee, pal. if you don’t like it, go h o m e and make your own,» she began, annoyance clear in her tone. «stop being an ass. being decent is not a fucking magic trick. and you’re holding up the line.» her words, mixed with the glares from other customers, had the man silently retreat, and rey stepped up to the counter. «what a DICK. don’t mind people like that, yeah? they’re not worth it.» 

❛ HE WAS FUMBLING WITH coffee cups and orders, he was truly more confused than he had ever been in the shop -- maybe was the heat, maybe because his head was elsewhere; but hoseok was a huge man with really poor control of his actions. of course, the typical tall man cliché. he ran his fingers through his hair, and then, his savior came. she was rather small, if he was to say -- but then, usually, he stands taller than most. he watched as the man’s words started to die in his lips, he watched as she came to him, and hoseok fumbled once again, but with his words this time around. “ h-hey. ” he smiled at her, and looked down at her cup again. “ thanks for that. i think it’ll give you drinks on the house from now on until forever, because... yeah. ”

          CHARITY EVENTS WERE SUCH a bore. truthfully areum didn’t know why she was even there, but dressed in a long gown, slit revealing her thigh, high heels elevating her spirit, even she had to admit she was a SIGHT. it was funny to listen to people converse about her: as if she was the picture of innocence and purity, obedience and old money. it was easy to be confused, she supposed: she with her timid tendencies and soft-spoken words of ELOQUENCE. of course they wouldn’t ever think she had given her cousin food poisoning just to be the ‘ prettiest girl at the ball ’ or that she had slept with a married man just the day before. no, this was bang areum, sophisticated and honest and PERFECT. she laughed at some politician’s joke she hadn’t even heard properly — her eyes had wandered and landed on him. minhyuk always caught her attention, and she knew they were both thinking the same thing: when they could leave.

❛ HE WAS BORED AS he would always be in a place like that. social events from the high society -- the one that he belonged to, unfortunately and against all odds. he was itching for a fix, he was itching for a rush of anything; he just wanted to be gone and do things he would rather find enjoyable. and the only one person he found enjoyable in that place was HER. she was aware of that, he wasn’t one to keep covering his real intentions -- he was very much undressing her with his eyes at each step given, and she knew what he wanted too. with fluid movements, minhyuk made his way to his fair lady; hand brushing the crook of her elbow, lips barely touching her skin. “ what you’re up to tonight ? ” he smirked, eyes scanning the clueless crowd. “ i can think of something you can put up, in one minute. ”

           THE LAST CHORD STILL RANG in his ears when he left the stage, eyes accustoming themselves to the dim lighting behind the lit platform. it wasn’t a particularly ELEGANT location — painting scratched off of the walls, sound system slightly broken, neon signs flickering, but dae was as happy as could be. he was convinced most of the people seated by the bar ( most of them regarding him either with a shy smile as they recognized him from the show just played, or not at all ) were underage, but he ignored it as he walked over to siyeon. his hair stuck to his forehead with s w e a t and his heart still pounded in an UNNATURAL speed when he wrapped his arms around her from behind, leaning closer to her ear. «that last song was for  y o u.»

❛ SHE WOULD NEVER find herself there in a normal day -- her father, damn, her cousin, especially, would have her killed for that. it was a strict household, of course, with their crazy rules; but then, he was worth breaking all of the rules. not even the sweat that dripping from his body was enough to drive her away, instead, siyeon molded to his shape. “ it was a really good song, indeed. ” flirting was not her forte, so she blushed slightly, thankful for the poor light of the place. “ but you are really a star, i have nothing to do with it. ”
