there has actually never been a highway to churchill, so it is indeed still inaccessible by road (though the highway from winnipeg to thompson is very liminal lol). however i am very pleased to report that via rail finally got off their asses and fixed the train back in late 2018 after about 2 years of inoperation and it’s now up and running!!
