A relatively quick mod of a toy gun. Some days ago @alekstermit brought to me a toy gun. Yesterday I desided to modify it into blaster using #DKled and some crap from my workshop. I changed clear tube to dome opaque one and inserted 8x32 #neopixel #led matrix inside. An old dynamic was converted to a lovely reflector. Some tubing and neopixels here and there. We also made an on/ off switch oiy of usb, so it made it possible to put powerbank inside too. The question was how to hide charging port and sd card slot and still have an easy access to it. So I cut a part of housing under carbin fiber looking decal and added magnets and soft hinge. #cosplay #prop #art #led #fx #scifi #neopixel #DKLED

Plastic Barbie I like how this character turned out. Comfortable mask and latex skin you can be contained in for hours. Clear yet limited vision that makes the experience more like a virtual reality. This makes you play, become something between human and object. Still with personality but same time a toy, playful thing that want to be taken care of - basically a pet, a character in a videogame. Current intetculture is very contrary to this thing. It's stigmatized, called outdated at best. But you know, you can not be strong and be in charge all the time. Letting someone a control over you can give an experience to be cared of, a relaxing feeling of returning to childhood. Yesterday I made this suit. Black snake textured, thick pearl white and rainbow faux leathers. I thought my sewing machine will blow up. Even three layers of this is hard, but there was areas it had to handle ten. Just fit all that under the leg was tricky)) Another challenge was to sew on rainbow strips. You can not pin them, you can not miss your line. And you have to put a half of the suit through not so big machine. No wonder there are a couple of spots I missed the direction. Also I did it to another person, not for me. But hey, that 8 hours I spent on this suit was full of great insights!
