Chapter 35 for Tendrils Entwined (Finally an update!)

Its been 3 months and I'm sorry for the lack of update. But here is a sappy big one for you (those still around) and hopefully back to regular monthly updates. With the new Venom host...I have to keep the Eddie and symbiote vibes alive in a comic setting (yes I'm livid and not happy with comics rn)

Anyway here's a snippet!

Eddie watched Scream slowly crawl down the side of the theatre building, much like a spider would, keeping out of the public eye like a shadow. With swift ease they jumped onto the ground before Eddie and placed their hands on their hips. Long tendril hair rippled to their waist in yellow and red, alive and somehow threatening like Medusa. It still left Eddie breathless seeing a human and Symbiote bonded. The form and being they became. It was curious, yet terrifying. “Where did you come from?” Eddie questioned, his heart in his throat at their sudden presence and danger that his body was screaming. “And please don't say things like that. They have enough stupid ideas in their head.” The Symbiote face retracted like a mask as their claws pulled apart their mouth, revealing a grinning human host underneath. “My Symbiote felt something or should I say, we both felt something. A name on the wind, an emotion against us. You'd have to be pretty close to feel it anyway. It was nothing like we’ve felt before.” Andi gave a small snort as she brushed out her messy hair. “You should feel honored, Eddie. Symbiotes just don’t throw their names around.”

y'know we never got to hear or see anything about Dylan's childhood and on one hand that's probably for the better since it most likely wasn't that great but also that means I can do what I want

on the ever growing list of comic ideas i plan to make one day that are already in the progress (sorry VTuber VEnom fans, all 3 of you, i AM working on it, i promise), I kinda wish we got to see what would've happened if Dylan was with Venom since day 1, instead of them getting him at like. 12. and then most of their time with him being time skipped. then they lose him again. god i hate venom comics

this mostly spawned from the thing where dad's tend to carry babies like a football since they can't carry them on their hip because bones different and all i could think of is Venom/Eddie, looking like their about to kill a man, holding onto a baby Dylan in one hand

also a great mental image of a stranger trying to comfort this lost toddler and find his parents while a villain attack is going on, only for this 7ft tall creature to just scoop him up like "haha sorry this one is our's, btw that guy is now unconscious and contained now if you wanna tell the police" and then hopping up and onto a building

velco baby Dylan, a product of Venom never letting him down whilst swinging through the city or crawling around the sewers, except as long as Dylan can see them in some way, he's chill- sitting on a bench, watching them throw around/get thrown around by spider-man? perfectly fine. watching news footage of Venom chasing down a bad guy? that kid is in a cafe, watching it on a tv with a cookie and a cup of juice the staff gave him-

but the second he can't see or hear them? immediate waterworks, a scream that could shake the walls- maybe literally, considering the half-symbiote thing, did you read Planet of the Symbiote? When the Symbiote was so upset at being broken up with that they cried out telepathically and people in the vicinity got depressed and it accidentally called a bunch of other Symbiotes to earth? that.

on a lighter note, uh. Eddie trying to talk seriously to someone but the Other is playing with Dylan in the background, throwing him in the air and making weird, scary faces that Dylan laughs at

forever upset we never got this with Dylan, like we kindaaaa got it with Sleeper but Sleeper is full Symbiote and left for space by the end of First Host so eh. but Eddie and his Other were very sweet parents during that so I think they would've done their best as parents. wallet full of pictures of their babies.

The Brock Family Clickbait in All-New Venom #5 (Only the best parts) - SPOILERS

If this was Eddie as Venom...seeing the family team up would have been the best comic ever. But atlas. I am completely against MJ as Venom (Which I will not be posting to give it attention) so...at least these interactions are between both symbiotes only. The Other & Sleeper.

In fact there was nothing else good about the issue except the first half.

Bonus: Oh they do mention Eddie and Dylan somewhat.
