♡ lets be clear about something, loves! its not okay for ANYONE, regardless of age, to be antiship. even if you were persuaded into being an anti, you need to work on yourself and work to atone against the harmful and dangerous nazi rhetoric that you were taught to believe.

it doesnt matter if you were 17 or 16 or 15 or even 12, if you were believing and spreading your beliefs that lie in nazi ideology, you have a lot to do to work against that.

if you've worked against censorship and you now recognize and fight to support your local lawmakers against censoring people, great, your doing the right thing! and if you havent, then you are STILL perpetuating this ideology.

antishipping is an IDEOLOGY that lies in WHITE SUPREMACY. it believes in censoring minorities in the name of puritism because they thing that what we believe in and create goes against their conservative christian values. even if an anti is a minor, you should NOT have sympathy for them! you should educate them, but sympathy and empathy for someone who supports the censorship of thousands of innocent people? your just the same as them, at that point.

you have to radically be against censorship because otherwise no one will hear you. if you fight against censorship by just vague posting about antishippers that you see on twitter, then you dont actually care about censorship! you dont care about antiharassment! you dont care about any of the proship key values because your feeding into the palm of theyre hands.

antishippers know very well what theyre doing. they know what the ybelieve in and, similarly to what homophobes do to harm the gay community, they disguise it as "caring for children" when they dont. they want to censor you because you do not fit into their box of appropriability.

if your response to reading this is "well they arent nazis because..." take a step back and rethink that. what people condone censorship? what people fight for the burning of literature because of "the safety of children"? what people crucify anyone who dont follow their beliefs? think about that before you decide to disagree with this post. this is important and this NEEDS to be recognized more.

doing the laundry with your f/o, dumping the pile of warm clothes on the bed, maybe there's a show playing in the background, or music, or maybe you're both sitting there chatting as you each fold the clothes.

cooking dinner together. Maybe you both can cook, or only one of you can, or neither, but whatever is the case you're laughing together as you cook, taste testing, sneaking bites as it cooks, getting distracted in each other for a moment, before you realize the timers been going off for a bit.

taking a shower with your f/o, fighting for the warmth of the water, taking turns washing each other's hair, those random shower thoughts you get, you can now bounce off your f/o, getting out and doing skin care together, or just sitting in bed wrapped up in towels as you talk about your night.

such little everyday things that can be seen as so mundane, or boring even, made so much better just because you get to do them together.

Probably a bit of a rant here, I’ve mostly been reblogging things so I’ll likely try to make either a reblog tag or a tag for my own posts but anyways.

something I have been noticing in not only proship but also antiship spaces is that “proshippers like problematic ships” or “proshippers have to like every kind of ship” When being proship really isn’t either of those, it’s way more just anti-harassment over ships other people enjoy. It doesn’t mean you have to enjoy every taboo thing in the book it’s just not caring about preferences in fiction. And even then if you dislike a certain thing in fiction you should either block people that do enjoy it or block that certain tag. I feel as though it’s a common misconception that because you don’t care what others enjoy in fiction means you have to automatically enjoy that. Which no, there are things that personally have made me uncomfortable in fiction though I’m proship, again, because things can still make you uncomfortable while not bothering others about it.
