@diamondynamo, you’re not the sort of person I expected to see at the store.

      Truth be told, Himiko has no idea how to shop for herself. Her basket has all sorts of sugary items in it (the essentials), but there’s this one brand of cereal she can’t seem to reach... Then, without realizing it, her eyes glanced over at a person shopping in the same aisle as her.

      Now this person was a performer. At least, she’s assuming. Something about her hat seems special (magic?), but the likes of it are too foreign for Himiko to truly identify. She’s been running into all sorts of characters lately, so she doesn’t see the problem with adding another to the pile.

      Besides, she wants to touch that hat. It looks like it can get her up to that pesky shelf she can’t reach anyway.

      “... Can you lift me up?” Again, she has not learned from her previous encounters, and is just going to be blunt about it. Is she trying to talk to the hat...? “I’m trying to get to something I need, and I don’t have enough magic to lift myself up that high.”

      How much MP must this guy have!? He’s not a mage (obviously), but he seems powerful enough to be some sort of mystical being! She’s actually pretty impressed, but from the outside, it just looks like she’s staring at him for all the wrong reasons. Too bad Himiko’s never been good at explaining herself.

      “Nyeeh... You’re so warm from this side.” No, that is not the thing to say to a stranger. Oh well, not a big deal.

Is something wrong with you, @rosepasseri, or...?

      It’s not her first time around robots... One of her classmates was one, after all, so she should know one when she sees one! That’s what she wants to assume, however. Not every day she sees a beautiful woman who isn’t breathing.

      Maybe she’s nervous? Himiko’s not one to get people out of their shell (nor does she want to be tasked with something that difficult), but she doesn’t feel like walking all the way back to her condo either.

      “... Do you not need to breathe to live?” That’s overly blunt, but she can’t think of any other better way to word her question. As far as Himiko can tell, it’s another way of asking if she’s human or not.

       Out of all the people she’d meet in this place, it’s this guy? The one responsible for the deaths of her friends!? Himiko is this close to walking the other way to avoid interacting with him, but it looks like he’s already snaked his way over to her. Unfortunately, she’s too lazy to exert the effort to leave this conversation (even though she’d rather be talking to anything besides him right now).

      What a pain.

      “I barely have enough power to cast you back from the depths from which you came, let alone be able to talk to you,” she says. If she had her wand with her, she’d definitely be able to send him back to the spirit realm! Now Himiko really wishes she slept enough to restore her magic last night... Maybe he’d be gone by now if she had.

      Does that mean Tenko and Angie might not be...?

      “... What do you even want?”

      Even after just getting here (and having a condo to herself, no less!), Himiko has run into a problem: her condo’s washer has broke. Normally, at this point, she’d give up and try another day, but she’s already exerted all of this effort... Kind of hard to stop now.

      As soon as she arrives to the next closest laundry room, it looks like another person is in here already. What a pain.

      “Do the washers here work?” she asks, a basket of clothes in hand. Himiko swore she had clean clothes—sort of hard to know when you suddenly appear somewhere—but alas. “... The ones in my place don’t, and I don’t have enough MP to fix them right now.”

      This girl’s fast! Himiko was just there at the right time to witness Ruby doing that amazing stunt. If she wasn’t a mage herself, she’d probably guess that the other was casting some sort of spell! It feels a bit... Different from the magic she’s used to, though.

      ( There at the right time? Eh, she was actually about to be attacked by a zombie before this speedster jumped in and grabbed her, but... )

      “I could’ve handled that, you know,” she says, still in the arms of the other. Himiko pouts. “My MP is... Lower than I thought, so I couldn’t do much.

      ... Nyeh... Thanks, I guess.”

      ... Yep, she knew her magic senses were tingling! There’s another person here that’s as mystical as she is!

      Of course, Himiko doesn’t say anything at first. She just watches the other perform tricks flawlessly. Who was he trained under, she wonders? It’s a question that she’ll store away for the time being. For now, her interest is piqued, and she has to investigate and get to know this mysterious guy as soon as possible!

      “You can do magic too?” She has the decency to approach him after he’s done performing, because hey, she knows what the standard protocol is, even in smaller shows. “Are you... A mage?”
