pony is someone you want on your quiz team when it comes to movies. he has specific opinions on things and taste but would behave like an omnivore when it comes to watching. yes that movie is dogshit. yes he has seen it twice. yes he can spot some character actor from columbo season give episode two on some other tv show and rattle off their tiny filmography.

dallaa is someone you want on your quiz team if you want to talk television specifically. he's seen every episode of the dumbest shit you've ever heard and some you haven't heard. absolutely a man who remembers individual episodes of the newlyweds, can tell you specific things about the price is right and knows all of the story lines from some 70s show people barely watched.

a page of the outsiders script on dallas' death. the script that was used for the shooting was written by ffc. & se hinton but it was credited to someone else after arbitration.

interesting that dallas' death was never scripted with lines, and very, very interesting that they had a lot more dialog here. the fact that what we got onscreen was very different shows some of the changes that happened probably through collaboration with the cast, the director, and s. e. hinton. the script here feels plainly more like something out of the 1980s with the faces of the boys — i can see that shot clearly in someone else's hands but i'm glad it wasn't ultimately chosen.
