#wait theres more#deidara vs sasuke was actually one of the best and most intense fights overall#like i felt on edge watching it#orochimaru is just plot fuel to me and i consider him boring but i will give him the credit of being basically the only villain who#didnt need a backstory really to be evil#he just..is#a natural bad#all of the hokage piss me off i get it i get it protect the village but theyre all so careless while doing it#i exclude tsunade and kakashi from that criticism obviously#maybe minato but idk i'm currently at the part where naruto just met him so i gotta see how i feel this time around#although i dont feel like kakashi ever really cared much#kakashi btw is such a solid character#i always loved him but really as you get older you realize how his whole character is a symbolism for love#with the way he immediately makes team 7 remember that putting eachother over missions is most important#that love is priority#and him having sharingan kinda ties into the whole 'uchiha love more deeply than anyone else' thing#him along with sasuke are the first ones you see really protecting/sacrificing for love#the first time the series ended i had so many thoughts about the visual kekkei genkai and how they are all tied together#i thought about sasuhina not as a ship but like how they have similar color design and also have sharingan/byakugan#meanwhile they are very closely tied and associated with naruto#theres something about that that boggles my brain#just seeing patterns i guess#more later

#naruto thoughts after all this time#upon rewatching#.. i love that sasuke never got his arm back its so...sasuke of him to do that#its very intimate to me#keeping his battle scar/loss especially because of how much naruto means to him#its like a reminder that hes loved and also that hes alive#i love narusasu more and more every time i watch naruto again#sasuke really was always the first one who put his comrades over missions... despite him being the 'bad boy'#he was always the most emotional#most passionate and protective#land of waves arc remains my favorite in the entire series because it has every important message#every important message from the story tied neatly into one arc#when sasuke saved naruto and thought he was going to die was such a big deal and butterfly effected the entire future of naruto#saving sasuke became narutos dream#he put it over becoming hokage#other thoughts related to ships..... hmmmm#i still hate narusaku (romantically) so bad like the idea of them ending up together makes me so uncomfortable#however so does sasusaku and naruhina#sasusaku just feels ooc for sasuke. even sakura by the end#naruhina is just so underdeveloped#it had more good to it than ss#but naruto never really showed much interest honestly so it bores me#also i realized kyo and tohru (fruits basket) are literally almost the same concept as naruhina#that was my first ever ship and fb was my first anime#kyoru is the canon that nh can only wish for#harsh but honestly#those are my ship related thoughts but there's so much more about the series im reminiscing about#naruto and sasuke are in love though regardless of the ending#and no one can convince me otherwise

#also rewatching naruto for like the 4th? time#growing up with naruto as a series makes it feel so much more real idk how to explain the feeling#i think all the media i was into as a child feels more 'real' like as if the characters are actual existing beings#im not crazy#i feel like that about fruits basket as well and some other things#i guess because if you knew it as a child and you keep on rewatching and seeing different perspectives its like#the characters and story morph and age with you
