i NEED to suck ass at my hobbies. like i don't Want tips and advice. i don't Want to do everything i do specifically to get "better" at whatever it is i'm doing. i'm doing shit because i like to!!! i keep getting caught up in the idea that writing is this profound art and everything about it has to be perfect and intentional. and that whatever i'm doing isn't "real" or "good" writing because it's like none of those. but who's enforcing that?? i can do whatever i want with writing or drawing or taking funny pictures or ANYTHING!!! (as long as i'm not like. hurting anyone with it) like i can just make my ocs funny little guys that i gnaw on and spin around in my head like a microwave. they don't have to be anything more if i don't need or want them to be!!! they can be AWFUL and i can look back at them like WHAT WAS I DOING. and i think it's beautiful

been drawing in a little notebook. it's not even a good one the paper keeps getting stuck in the rings. a lot of my drawings in there kinda suck too and i don't bother to fix them. it's really fun tho. highly recommend making shitty drawings in a little notebook
