The Petty Trait

I made this trait a long time ago. I’m finally sharing it publicly. Sims with this trait are almost ALWAYS angry. I may release a V2 soon. Comes with a custom moodlet or two. This trait makes sims want to do mean things to others and actually do mean things to others, and its harder for sims with this trait to build friendly and romantic relationships. Enjoy.

Obi, always the joker. You’d think he be downright happy for his little bro. I didn’t quite get the Lothario gene, Obi’s the ladies’ man. Me? Not-so-much. People always assumed we were twins growing up and the awful, matching hand-me-down rags didn’t help us. Mum was quite proud though, she did it on her own after all. Just mum, Obi, me, and Amanda.

Thank you for the suggestions shazzasims! I incorporated both textures (e.g. above). This is still not finished (African Wedding Dress), still need to fix the overstretching at the bottom etc and do the back, etc but what version do you like better, #1 alternate with flat silk or #2 alternate with another wax print? Anyone else have a preference or hunch, especially. psychoticcoven qdogsims, pedanticbohemian and galfromrio?

Nexusmods is Transphobic

ATTENTION TRANS PEOPLE AND ALLIES: DO NOT SUPPORT NEXUSMODS.COM!!!

LGBT gamers that have played and loved Pillars of Eternity have all heard about the transphobic limerick that was removed from the game by the developers.  I won’t post it here because triggers, but it was shitty.

Well, nexusmods.com (known as the Nexus), a site hosting mod (or modification) files, has hosted a mod that places the transphobic text back into the game.  The mod, arrogantly enough, is called “Censorship BE GONE Original Memorial Text”. I reported this mod as hate speech, which it is.  I got this reply from Nexus staff:

“Please stop being a tool of the people who work so hard to find something objectionable in every form of humour.

There is noting “transphobic”, (which is not even a word) in that limerick unless you twist it into such a bizarre form as to make it double-jointed.

We have evaluated the original poem.  We have evaluated the original author’s response to the ridiculous furor that has erupted.  And we stand with those who believe that people need to get a life, not be outraged, when they don’t get the joke.

Nexus’s official stance seems to be that they endorse this kind of loathsome hate speech.  If you were thinking of giving them money, DON’T!  And if you’re already a supporter, I’d suggest not supporting them again this year.  They’ve taken a really disappointing stance on the side of GamerGate and transmisogyny.
