There will be a Rurouni Kenshin- Meiji Kenkaku Roman Tan musical by Takarazuka Revue Snow Troupe set. It will be staged at Hyogo Takarazuka Theater from February 5, 2016 and at Tokyo Takarazuka Theater from April 1, 2015.

It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1994 (Shueisha), as well as an animated series and a live-action film adaptation. It will be the first time for a musical.

Sagiri Seina and Sakihi Miyu will be starring for the musical. Screenplay and director will be Koike Shuichiro. Fans need to wait for a follow-up news and details in the future.

Sagiri Seina is a female stage play/ musical artist who is well-known for playing male roles in Takarazuka. Sakihi Miyu is also a famous stage play/ musical artist. She worked with Seina in many musicals.

Spirited Away is my second favorite Miyazaki movie and it’s long overdue for a fanart :)

I especially love the scene when Chihiro put her forehead against Haku. It was such a serene feeling of connection and bonding, as if saying “As long as you’re here, everything will be okay.”
