Limitations

Well as you all know from since our first blog post we were given guidelines to assure none of the SLians would become offended by anything we would talk about in this blog.

This is the main reason it has been inconsistent with posts, so i'm just going to ask the simple question as to whether you guys would take offense to anything said because I don't want to believe you guys are as easily offended as I am lead on to believe. Whatever we would say here would be no different to what we say in the chat when we link a screen from whenever and get a laugh out of it.

However if it would be offending I guess we will just discontinue this blog since it will turn into what SLs main blog is and better short lived than having to post things within a criteria.

Mk7 Pixel Arts and more!

Well guys, SL has been pretty calm so I have no other choice but to speak about this stuff D;.

It's that time again! Mario kart 7 tournament is coming up soon and all who are able are asked to compete in this event, it is going to be held sometime after Christmas though the date is still unofficial. A member specifically requested that it be a MkWii tournament since he doesn't have mk7 so if anyone else has mkWii please inform me (josh) or Jem so we could maybe host one for the wii players so no one is left out. Thank you.

In other news, SLs Pixel Arts page which is dedicated to spriting which is a big part of sl has taken another step to completion thanks to the work of Jem and the buttons which were done by Ben, special thanks to you Ben they look great! Looking forward to seeing Pixel Arts in its full glory.

And in general chat news, Martin and Jem dueled for the first time yesterday,  Jem says and i quote ' i woulda lost though had he known how to use his deck properly'. Well Martin you know what to do keep practicing and you will get better so you can hold your own against your 'Bff' and Scept and whoever else in SL likes yugioh lol.

Scept + CL update

 Ah Scept, this post is dedicated purely to you. I know what you are thinking, "How lucky am I?", right?

We all know and love scept even though he has his erm . . . days, this post is purely here because I promised to give him props for his one and only phrase "SLians" which we have and are going to continue using in this blog. 

For those of you who don't know how this phrase came to be created, ask Scept for the full story, I am sure he would be more than happy to relive the happy memory. 

Now, for the CL update. As we all know, Scept is a valued member of CL, so after much thought I have come up with the perfect role for Scept within the CL community.

CL Power!!

Hey guys!! As you all know Gabe a.k.a HoneyB has an SL blog. After he found out about us 'hipsters', I imagine he was displeased but just to be clear though, I am not a pussy bitch. <3

Now onto today's story. We all should know about two weeks ago, whore radiation caused sl to spontaneously give birth to a place named GL or so we thought.

Upon its creation the site lost quite a few members, but really how many times has this happened? Another attempt to kill the indestructible SL, we have heard it before many times. Although it turns out GL was never created with the intention to overthrow the cornerstone known as SL, but lies formulated by Gary who is a former member of the site to cause confusion. He hasn't been involved in anything since but is he done with bothering SL?

This caused a little conflict among members but we got most of them back once everything cleared up. It's still kinda shocking when you would think that one of the higher members of SL whose name i will not reveal was willing to invest money, exactly 100 dollars into a site that was not a week into functioning while in the past he was a member of SL and 'loved' the site. Has the word love really has lost it's meaning?

Battling with our Hearts

So after our first post we were warned to review content before we post so no one is offended, unfortunately that will probably cut everything we had planned in half but we can work with this.

As we all know, Zam and Jem had a battle the other week and we can safely say they both battled with their hearts and souls for victory. Of course they also battled with their pokemon. After a second try he was able to claim a victory against the guy standing in his way to face the sites champion Shade. However due to certain 'things' that followed in sl Zam took his leave for these reasons: 

But even though we are not happy about loosing such a valuable member... we wish him all the best with med school. Who will be the one to take shade off of his throne now?

The Beginning

Hello fellow SLians. Today is the day that SL finally gets a blog that will be updated frequently *shakes fist at Gabe*. 

As all relevant members of SL know, Tumblr is not exactly Jem's favorite website thanks to the still unidentified Mr Smiley. I imagine there will be much sighing and hitting his head of the desk when he reads this.

Remember Jem, before you get upset about anything on this blog. What would Jesus do?
