CONFIRMED — Vanny and Vanessa are not the same person.

To start this off. Yes this is an RP blog. Yes this is all out of character. And Scott... why you gotta get all of us thinking they were the same when they have different voice actors !?

Alright on to the real meat of this. So days ago a dear friend posted a theory about how Vanny and the Security Guard were separate people. And everything made... sense. So we talked for a while and even discussed how Security Girl aka Vanessa - sounds just like baby at the end of the trailer. So I did some digging. And you’ll never guess what I found.

Heather Masters; the voice actor for baby. And now; it makes sense. The ‘ Vanessa A ‘ isn’t Vanny. Heck Vanny works with computers. She’s in IT; she wouldn’t just switch over to security. But if another woman with the same first name worked there: there could easily be confusion. Hence why it mentions ‘ Bunny ‘ near security. Though Since Vanessa is clearly connected to Baby aka Elizabeth Afton she could just like Bunny’s aswell.

Now Scott is very serious when it comes to voice actors and who they’re voices will be connected too and eye color. We know this because of two examples , William Afton and Micheal Afton are voices by PJ Heywood, and Kellen Goff only voicing Freddy animatronics. From Funtime Freddy to the new and improved Glamrock Freddy. And as for eye color- we see that Baby’s eyes were created to be blue. But after the incident with Elizabeth, her eyes turned Green.

She also had blonde hair, and possibly freckles. Which brings up to likenesses.

Now— We only have the pixel art variant of Elizabeth. But we can figure out a lot just by this. For instance the green eyes, blonde hair. Which is important here because Vanessa; the one also voiced by Heather Master’s. I have a strong feeling they’re connected. Which is why Vanessa has purple nail polish. Because while we usually place the color purple with William there’s also the fact that in universe.. Micheal is fully... purple.

Now where am I going with this? No where really. I just saw that no one was talking about this. Which honestly thank goodness. I saw so many worried about Vanessa and Vanny being the same person. Scared that it would be yet another ‘ multiple personality ‘ villain. Using a mental disorder as a trait to create a villain. I’m so glad Scott did not go this way. And I’m so excited to see how this will play out.

OK so. Here’s my idea of the whole is vanny the security girl thing.

They are different people- EXCEPT- the emails between Luis and nessie97, are sent to Vanny(aka know as Nessa or Nessie) and security girl is Vanessa A. The one who wanted bunny shaped chocolates.

Vanny sees how her and Vanessa A. have the same name(Vanny goes by Nessa/and or Nessie but her actual name is Vanessa)and she also notices how Vanessa A. works in security(as shown in the emails). So she uses that to her advantage and steals her identity to kill kids while also framing her in the process.

So recap: Vanny is the one who got the emails from Luis and wants to Kill Gregory, for Glitchtrap/William

Vanessa A. Is the one who works in security and likes bunny shapes chocolates(shown in leaked emails) and is the one trying to protect Gregory from Vanny.
