I spent a few minutes listening to my heart today before work and I began to tear up! (Please! 💅🏾 y’all should know me by now) It was soothing and consistent and powerful. Over the past few months I’ve been battling, crying, internally working, venting, crying, idling, writing, growing, healing, crying, healing and healing. I’ve also been letting. Letting go and letting myself. I’ve been letting myself breathe and sit and be. Last night I went to bed thanking God for life but in so doing I realised that I had not done it in such a while. I’m grateful for life’s realisations. I’m grateful for amazing friends, in particular @knowlee for reminding me of the light within me and allowing space through such unending support to be brighter. I sense such a shift happening in my, but that’s what life does. It shifts! Consistently! It moves, it speeds up and sometimes it yields. This message, for whom it applies, is a reminder to pause and appreciate the consistent things both internally and externally. Whether it be your own heart, a kind friend or even the consistent ebb and flow of life.
