Hi!♡ I'm VERY painfully aware that I'm SO damn LATE and that Hisomachi week/day is over 🌸 but I have a few questions if you'd be so kind as to answer them☺️ 1: the way it sounds TO me it's like Hisomachi week is a team? Is it one or more people?✨ You don't have to answer if you're uncomfortable lol🎐 2: Are you planning to make another Hisomachi week/day? And 3: since I see you as the Leader of 🃏🧵✨ Hisomachi ✨🧵🃏 I was wondering would someone else like me be able to make a Hisomachi week/day??🍓 Anyway ty for your time enjoy your day 🍡🍒🍭💮🌸🥰
Hello!!! ✨
Of course I can answer them!
1: Nope, I organized the events on my own. Since it is a tiny ship with just a few shippers - and even less people willing to create content - personally, I didn't see the need to find more people to help.
2: Planning? Not at the moment, no. My focus has been on other things right now. It can always go back to HxH in the future (it happened before), but I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon.
3: lol You're too kind, but in a fandom there's no such thing as a leader of a ship, or a leader of a character, don't worry. I appreciate the question, tho. You, or anyone else, are free to host any HisoMachi event, including HisoMachi Week and Hisomachi Day. I think it's a bit too late to run a Hisomachi Day this year because it's 3/4 and one week is not enough to spread the word and for creators to post their works, but the Week can happen anytime, so I would suggest you focusing on it instead.
Tell me if you're serious about it. It is challenging, ngl. As I said, not many people are willing to create content for this ship, unfortunately. But there's always someone here or there and you may reach that shy shipper who just needed a little encouragement to write or draw something. Who knows. If you love the ship, it is worth it.

hisoka called machi to the heaven's arena because he was horny and was hoping to spend the night with her in his room. the stitching part is just an excuse. also, idk if you notice but on page 10 of chapter 55, when machi tied her thread around his arm, his eyes doesn't seem to be directed to the thread or the severed arm, but towards her face. who knows if machi's chest is also in his field of vision

During their meeting before the fight between Chrollo vs Hisoka, Machi already knows that Chrollo will propose a death match, which means Hisoka's death (because Machi is very sure of Chrollo's victory).
That's why even though it's clear that Hisoka is challenging Chrollo, Machi doesn't refuse Hisoka's request to stitch up his wound after the fight.
For Machi that means repairing and cleaning Hisoka's corpse as a final respect & gratitude.
But Hisoka who is so confident that he can beat Chrollo also knows that maybe it will be his last meeting with Machi as 'two people who know each other well'.
Both of them probably thought the meeting was the last, so Hisoka once again tried his luck asking Machi to 'spend the night with him', and this time Machi didn't refuse him.
Because psychologically, if someone thinks this moment is the last, then usually they will tend to be easier to be honest with themselves and follow their heart.
So they are being careless due to the situation.

Hisoka puts Machi in his 'treasure chest' instead of his "toys box'.
C'mon, if it's because Hisoka is being gentle and doesn't want to fight women, it's clear that Menchi, Pyon, & Biske are there.
And I'm pretty sure, in terms of potential as well as nen skills, Machi isn't any weaker (if not stronger) than at least Menchi & Pyon.
The possibility that Togashi forgot to draw her is also less likely, considering that Togashi drew Hisoka's 'toys' in groups (not randomly).  We can see the Phantom Troupe members drawn close to each other, so it's almost impossible for Togashi to forget to draw one. Moreover, at Phantom Troupe Hisoka has a strong association with Machi, apart from Chrollo of course.

Machi always tries to avoid Hisoka when not related to the mission. But Hisoka will always contact her if he needs her nen stitch services.
At first, Machi didn't care about it, but after observing Hisoka's 'extraordinary' way of fighting, as well as how severe the wounds he deliberately made every time he made 'unnecessary shows' during a fight, Machi, who was originally soft-hearted inside, had no choice but to stitch up his wounds.
But since she doesn't want to make it too obvious and resulting Hisoka take advantage of her, then Machi will always charge very high fee in return.
Because in my opinion, Machi doesn't need to make any money by offering her nen stitch skill at all, considering her job as a member of Phantom Troupe.
She herself chooses who she wants to stitch / heal, not the person who pays for her skill.
And so far, we know that only Hisoka who has repeatedly received her nen stitch services. So clearly it was because Machi was willing to do it. Expensive charge fees is just an excuse.

Machi never uses the spider coin toss rule when arguing with Hisoka. Because Hisoka has never been interested in the missions given to them and he will give in and follow Machi's hunch because he fully trusts her.
After all, the most important thing for him is to be on a team with her.

The first meeting between Hisoka and Machi took place long before Hisoka became a member of Phantom Troupe.
Hisoka, who is first interested in Machi's potential and personality as a fellow transmutter, decides to approach her and get to know her further. Hisoka has a strong radar for sensing this kind of thing.
But of course Machi, who comes from Meteor City and has difficulty sympathizing with outsider, doesn't respond and just considers him as a passing wind.
Hisoka certainly doesn't give up and instead becomes even more curious, stalking and teasing her, constantly, making her feel annoyed.
Until on one occasion, without being asked, Hisoka helped Machi who was in trouble and inevitably made her indebted and be a little more 'welcome' to him.
When Hisoka is injured, she offers to stitch his wounds because she doesn't want to be in debt to him. "With this, now we're even."  then go leave him.
But at the next Phantom Troupe meeting, they meet again because Chrollo introduces Hisoka & Shizuku as new members. At first Machi preferred to partner with Shizuku, but because Chrollo knew that Hisoka would rather obey his orders when conveyed through Machi, since then, they were decided to become partners and Machi couldn't refuse. From then on, they treat Machi as Hisoka's 'in charge'.
PS: I think Hisoka already knew about PT and was eyeing Chrollo from the start because of course their infamous reputation.  But when he saw the spider tattoo that Machi had, it gave him even more reason to join Phantom Troupe.

Neither acknowledges how deep their feelings for the other are, though for different reasons. Machi denies her attraction partly out of pride, but mainly because she can sense he doesn't really care about the rest of the troupe, and she values her family above all else. Hisoka's quite aware he enjoys her company but that's as closely as he lets himself examine it. He deliberately suppresses any thought as to why his mood improves whenever she enters a room, or why he feels no desire to fight her despite her obvious strength. Subconsciously, he's terrified of truly growing attached to someone else. He'd describe it as a fling.

Once, to infiltrate a high society gathering they posed as a magician and assistant duo. Machi was extremely pissed the entire mission. Luckily for Hisoka, she never found out he used Texture Surprise on the coin

Out of the other troupe members, only Paku knows about their relationship (she's sworn to secrecy). Other members occasionally pick up on weird vibes between them, however only Chrollo suspects anything

Confession #1
Tumblr media
When I tell people I ship Hisomachi, I don't really mean in a 'omg they're so cute together squeeeee' way. I mean in a 'I wan't to see them destroy each other, embracing as they descend into hell' kind of way. I mean I'm not opposed to the fluffy stuff but I've always loved a good tragedy.
