A spoon's only objective in life is to make soup go upwards, and it knows this. That's why when you put one under a running tap it blasts the water way high. The spoon thinks there's suddenly TONS of soup to deal with and it freaks out.

after declaring how he feels about her, making out with her, fingering her, the thing that makes colin decide he wants to marry her wasn't an act of lust or passion. it was when the carriage stopped, they realized where they were, and had a laugh together. in about 5 seconds he realized in that moment that he wanted to spend the rest of his life laughing with her and making her laugh.

I love a good revenge. At first I was so mad at how Penelope just made it so easy for Collin because she had those feelings for years. I wanted Collin to suffer abit. I wanted him to feel what Penelope went through. But then again she has always loved him and it’s okay for her to accept the love from him without hurting him or making him wait

penelope is stronger than colin because she was able to hold all that ache in for years, meanwhile colin pined for her for weeks and was already so alcoholic and lonely and on the brink of just fully falling apart. she really might have fallen first, but boy did he fall harder. never change colin bridgerton

At some point in your life, you were taught that being slightly annoying is an unforgivable sin. Maybe it was by your parents or a teacher or a friend or a bully or an older sibling. But someone taught you that being slightly annoying is a crime punishable by death.

You must unlearn this.

You must accept that all people will be annoying at some point or another in their lives, maybe all of their lives, and that this is okay. It is okay for strangers on the bus, it is okay for children in the grocery store, it is okay for people on social media, and it is okay for you.

If you ever want to truly love your fellow humans, if you ever want to truly love yourself, you must have forgiveness for being annoying.
