With the generosity of our newest collaborator, @marinamandarinamarina and her transcendent work has put us in a thrall of inspiration and we couldn't wait to play around with her photos. We applied our 'Morning Glory' preset to this image and it just overflows with heightened colour and saturation to ethereal extents. We LOVE the finished image, sunshine leaks from every highlight and every shadow is veiled with a soft sheen of light.

Our 'Caffeine' preset on @marcoscorn's lovely photo looks so warm and amazing; and feels like a mug of coffee heating and tingling between your hands. The neutral tones are amplified to awaken the glow of life within every photo. Special thanks to @marcoscorn, check out his page and see more of his great work! All the Little Puzzle Pieces
We've been contacting incredible and downright the nicest people to collaborate with them and bring them into Histos to unite visionaries and be a part of this movement we strive to grow. Talking to exactly the right people and building unique connections with each and every one of them has been such a great experience, the communication is sublime. We adore our partners so far and we hope we can get them the attention they deserve. We are working on a project to acknowledge the gracious work they do for us, it looks beautiful so far and we're eager to share it. We can't thank our collaborators enough for sharing their remarkable photos with us. It means the world that we've come across such amazing and novel individuals. Bringing together and forming such comradarie in photography has been a great journey that has barely started. We believe in our new acquaintances and the work they do. Their style of expression is abstractly but clearly understood and it's what words can start to fail articulate. Expression by portrayal is powerful and showing everyone's independent perception of the world will form a phenomenal vision of what we and the world is to us. And has every capability to be beautiful and profound and united.

From our 'Bloom & Gloom' collection, we applied our 'Moss' preset that seeks out the dying greens and yellows and feeds them until they thrive. We've started collaborating with @katesalleyphotography and we've used her fantastic work with our presets.

Using our Preset Stitching technique, we used 'Void' from our 'Bloom & Gloom' collection and our esteemed 'Tundra' preset with @jordynowenphotog's incredible photo and we've beyond fallen in love with the results! The greens, blues, and aquas froth and blend together; spilling a revitalizing frigid film over the neutral tones.

In collaboration with the amazing @molly.j.photo, we applied the 'Anvil' preset for #Lightroom from our 'Bloom & Gloom' collection to her beautiful shot. It weathers the shadows and weighs every colour down to preserve the core and wash away the grit and rust and reveal the shining potential within.

Simplicity in Solitude
Being alone is different than being lonely. Being alone doesn’t constitute being sad or depressed unless it’s consciously linked to those negative concepts. Being alone just means being unaccompanied. It can be a positive, healthy thing.
Being alone is more along the lines of enjoying your own presence without the pollution of other entities’ influence. Embark with nothing but your own pure, unadulterated curiosity. You can take your time without someone else’s impatience cutting your time short. You’re unobligated to be conscientious of someone else’s needs. You can indulge in your own wonder and take in every aspect of your journey without the complications of another person/people dictating where and what you do because you decided to do something together. It may sound selfish but it’s not.
It is not selfish to hang out with yourself and learn how to be your own best friend. Taking a road trip by yourself and listening to your own music and mapping your own path can be exhilarating and therapeutic. Deciding your own path in exploring the world is exciting and purely your’s.
Sometimes, associating adventures with other people so often can turn out to be hard on the mind. But having memories with yourself, is your’s. Not even you could regret or take them away from you if you tried. In a generation that’s largely dependent on others and seeking partnership, it’s foreign to think of life this way. It’s almost purposely evaded.
There’s no reason for this. Yes, having friendships and relationships is grand. But they’re meant to enrich your life, not create your life. Like doughnuts. They’re already pretty darn good. Add sprinkles, and they’re even better. But you don’t need sprinkles all the time. Sprinkles can get messy. You can enjoy your moist, fluffy doughnut as it already is.
You are a delicious doughnut. Enjoy yourself. 🍩💕

Robot Phase/Face
Going through the motions of taking care of responsibilities and obligations isn’t always something we’re likely to opt to do. We do this awesome thing called “procrastinating”. One of the most overused and overrated excuses there is nowadays. But the more we take care of, the less stress we’ll have.
It’s that simple.
Knock tasks out that you HAVE to take care of and you’ll free up so much more leeway for the things you want to do. Relax, nap, have a few drinks, play video games, binge watch Malcolm In the Middle on Netflix, go to a concert you’ve been not wanting to miss again, reading that book you’ve been putting off. All without impending anxiety growing in the pit of your stomach.
It is possible, just take care of the things you HAVE to take care of or get done.
Put up with that coworker that works your last nerve, bust out that last page of work, clean one more room, put in that extra time, make that appointment, take the time to clean up after yourself, put on that face to get through the things you need to do and you’ll find how much better you feel after and how much energy you actually get from it.
As the great Shia LaBeouf would say; “JUST. DO IT. ☺

Looooooove this guy's work, it always stirs something in me that feels like nostalgia, someone saying my name, and feeling cold night air creep up my shirt. Absolutely love his vision. ❤

Taking the picture is like breathing, it comes naturally, but the hard part is getting there to do it. This will most likely end up in a new project I’ve been working towards entitled Bright Black World. #brightblackworld #toddhido #staytuned #brandnew
