I miss doing photography, since I can't draw and there are no other quick forms of self expression that I can do photography was my outlet. Only when I thought it would be my career did it stop bringing any enjoyment. Now that I am not thinking about becoming a photographer though that passion has sailed ship, bringing one of the best forms of dealing with my inner problems away with it. Sorry random people I don't talk to, needed to get something out today

Silina Jewelry
«The straight line is godless» said Hunderwasser and this phrase has stuck with me, so that I can recall it every time nature confirms it to me through its perfection. It is these manifestations of nature that I admire, I observe, and that impress me, and fragments of which I later try to convey using my hands.
I begin by making small sketches, like fleeting ideas of whatever draws my attention. Sometimes complete forms wander around my mind, forms of shells, flowers, leaves, at times even minimal or shapeless organic forms. My main materials are metal and paper. Metal is a tough “companion”. At times I transform it until it follows my sketch, or at other times I let it show me the way through its own pathways. For the purpose of antithesis but also for balance I use paper, a material which feels as if it holds me by the hand. The paper fibers create an environment where I can play around with the colours of nature and the canvas on which I can narrate my stories.
I’m really awed by these colors. The description says made with paper fibers, but I wonder how it can be durable enough? I typically think of paper as fairly fragile… Maybe an almost papier mache process? Regardless, it’s definitely an alternative approach to jewelry, and I think it pays off quite well.
