This is my first Tumblr post, so I guess I gotta make it count.

First of all, I have no hecking clue wtf Tumblr is, I only downloaded it to get away from the toxicity of reddit. One thing I've noticed, as is common with almost all social media, Tumblr has inside jokes, and most of them I am yet to understand. Although Tumblr seems to be a much safer and more accepting space than some other sites, it still has its own drama, drama you can see on any platform; Developer changes feature, user gets mad, grows to accept it. Executives change TOS, users riot, and then get over it, or find a loophole. A constant amongst all social media is the battle between users and creators.

One thing that makes Tumblr unique, The long dreaded walls of text, a bit ironic I know, I mean what am I literally doing right now. There is something charming about it though. A chance for someone to just rant and get all their thoughts out, most will likely scroll by, but you'll have higher odds of interacting with someone who actually gives a shit about what you have to say.

Considering this is my first post here, I'm still learning a lot about how text posts work, I just found out you can change the text style/font. You can add images mid post, which I could see as useful for tutorials, blogs, or honestly a whole range of content. Who knows if I'll ever really post again, or if I'll look back fondly at this post, or if I just straight up delete it altogether, it was at least nice to type out my thoughts to a likely void. Even if no one reads it, at least I entertained the idea of putting my thoughts into words, and to care enough about myself to even do that is reward enough.

If miraculously this ends up on someone's for you page, feel free to ask me any questions, I got nothing better to do than respond, and I may have a few questions for the lot of you as well, for example, wtf is Tumblr?
