some parts of the warrior cats fandom have this really funny mindset of "since we barely ever get female antagonists, it is our duty as the fandom to interpret any one we get in the most bad faith unsympathetic straightforward heinously maliciously puppy-kicking evil way possible so we can minmax on their evil factor to make up for it". like a) i don't. think it works like that and b) im sorry but mapleshade and curlfeather are independently of that just more compelling characters if you view them as though theyre people in fucked up and sympathetic circumstances rather than evil cartoon cackling witches imo. it's just more interesting. like i dont know what you want me to do about that

Some comic practice! This is probably one of my favorite moments in the entire series, tbh. Graypaw's a stinker but we love him. (Also poor Willowpelt trying to have a nice walk with her two weird sons)

The background on this gave me so much trouble but I think it turned out alright!!

I really wanna get more comfortable with comics and would love to do more of these little 1-2 page scenes. And I'm feeling like I'm in a bit of a WC kick at the moment, so if there are any other scenes you think I should tackle, let me know!
