criston cole is endlessly fascinating and i’ll hate to see him die. idk why so many fans can’t appreciate a half-dornish, son-of-a-steward lord commander of the kingsguard who swore a lifelong vow of celibacy, immediately slept with the princess, tried to kill himself out of shame, then committed himself to her childhood situationship instead and spent 20+ years going insane in a castle he hates, slept with the queen, and helped start a war so he could go outside and die in the riverlands. people don’t know when they have it good.
