I NEED to get this off of my chest.

So I started playing a few visual novels on itch.io, and one of them happened to be The Kid At The Back. Now I want to preference this by saying that gaming in general isn’t anything new to me, something that I’ve been doing for 15+ years, and when it comes to yandere tropes, I tend to enjoy the depravity of it all (depending on how far it goes….sometimes I just be pissed off the whole time) ANYWAYS, I started playing the game because I saw a lot of people raving about it and was recommended it a few times. I was like, why not? Something new and interesting to experience. I went into this with a brief synopsis of the game. Read the itch.io page, talked to other gamers, ya know, the whole nine. Anyways, I start playing it, and immediately I am snatched up by Crowe. Fell for the man right off the bat. Not only is he beautiful on the outside but he’s beautiful on the inside. How can you not fall for such a beautiful person.

First Playthrough Reenactment:

*Starts Game* [Looks at the scale for the first time] *Sees Crowe* “Oh he’s kind of cute” *“Runs away” from Crowe* (cough) library route (cough)

*Sits next to dude in my seat because it’s not that serious* *Runs away from Crowe again* *Goes to class and partners with Sol* “Oh, so that’s him huh…..he's kind of cute, but something is off here, and it’s definitely not my pants” *Brushes it off, treats him politely, still upset about the forced number exchange…like why not discord or something…..man definitely looks like he has a discord account* [Looks at the scale again, Sol is smirking while Crowe is pouting....Interesting] *Receives message from Crowe to meet up* *Meets up with Crowe* *Grabs his arm and goes to watch the stars* ^Stareeeee^ “Goddamn why is this man so pretty!” *Kisses because fucking obviously, WTH you take me for. You give me the chance, and imma take it!” [Feeling uneasy….somethings wrong here, I just can’t put my finger on it] {Cue Careless Whisper Saxophone} ~That 5 dollars set ya girl free~ -The way I felt during this part…….i need to be locked tf up. Throw the key away! I’m so down bad- *Goes Home* {Day 2 BABY} ^Can't wait to see my man^ [Checks the scale…Sol is glaring at Crowe hard asf, but atleast Crowes happy] *Talks to the gang* *Ask about Crowe* ^Nonone has seen him^ “Ooookay, now I’m feeling anxious” *Goes looking for Crowe* *Hears his phone ringing from outside the school bounds* ^Anxiety STOP^ “Heh, welp. I’m sure Sol probably beat his ass and now he’s laid out somewhere around here. Surely it can’t be anything else” *Climbs the fence* *Falls, hurts herself and breaks phone, but MC is a real one and Crowe is too fine to be left behind, so we trudge forward* *See’s torn pieces of Crowe’s vest* “Ah Hell Nah” *Approaches shack* *Smells blood* ^I had to sit up for this one^ *Uses axe to break door down* ^Holding my breath^ *Finds Crowe’s body* ^suprise pikachu face. Immediatly gets mad as fuck^ “NOOO ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! MY MAAAAAN, MY BEAUTIFUL MAN!” “AND HIS HAIR IS CUT?! IT IS ON SITE!!!” ^still can’t believe it’s real so I check the scale^ “WTH IS THAT?!” *MC crashes out* (as she fucking should because wtf) *Enters Sol, looking deranged asf* ^me mad asf^ “Of fucking course, I should’ve known better. We’re definitely dead” *Mc realizes Sol killed Crowe* (because ofcourse) *Commences further crashout* *Proceeds to try to choke the man to death for killing “her everything”🥲* “I KNOW THATS RIGHT! GET HIS ASS!!!” *MC gets stabbed from behind* “NOOOO! WHO IS THAT?!” *Sol cries while MC dies* (if I could jump through the screen I would) *Sol starts bickering with unknown person* *Last word from person: No Witnesses* *Game ends: Bad Ending > No Witness ^Me: 😧 Me right now while typing this: 🤬
