Hey loves, I have some really bad news. Due to unforeseen family circumstances, I’m going to have to close this rp. I just don’t have the time or energy right now to be the admin you all deserve. Thank you guys for the amazing reaction and interactions you’ve brought to this rp, and Im sorry it’s all got to close early. Hopefully one day, when I have a little more time we can look at re-opening! I have absolutely adored all of you and your muses, and I hope I come across you in the future out in that rp world.

Name: Sugar Motta Age of Character: 27 Occupation: “Accountant” Pronouns/Sexual Orientation: she/her, bisexual Birthday: December 17

Sugar is a feeling, a mood, something you sense in the world around you, and for all intents and purposes, she’s the most unmistakable person you’ll ever meet. She’s convinced the character : Alexis Rose from Schitt’s Creek is based off of her, and she’s gone so far as to try and prove that Sugar and Alexis have the name root word origin. Sugar graduated high school and went on to her father’s Alma Mater, Kent State: She got a degree in general studies, and served as the treasurer for her sorority for as long as she could, before she eventually graduated (turns out, the eventually give you a degree, especially if your dad funds a new fitness center) When she returned, everyone fun was gone from Lima, and she needed something to spend her time, she found that the DMs on her instagram lead to her being able to make enough money that she could keep up her lavish lifestyle and not have to try super hard. Like – if she’s already chewing bubblegum, how hard is it to send to some dude who wants it when she’s done? She likes to travel, and she enjoys having people take pictures of her, because, she is a hot tamale, and deserves to be treated as such.  Is she a little lonely? Maybe? Will she tell anyone? No. If you’re looking for her, you can find her at her house, dressing up a tiny chihuahua in matching outfits, scrolling through tinder and securely shipping whatever strange requests her ‘friends’ have for her.

Name: Hunter Ulysses Clarington Age of Character: 30 Occupation: Captain in the US Army Pronouns/Sexual Orientation: He/Him, Pansexual/Panromantic  Birthday: October 29

Hunter left Dalton and Westerville disgraced.  The steroids’ cheating scandal that he was the face of shook the school.  There is more to the story, but it was covered up for various reasons.  Thanks to his family’s name and money, Hunter went from Dalton to West Point Prep School.  West Point’s regular drug testing ensured that Hunter wasn’t at risk for falling into a pattern of drug use or abuse.  After finishing his prep school degree, Hunter stayed at West Point for his undergraduate degree with a dual major in American Politics and International Affairs.  Upon completion of his degree, Hunter began serving in earnest, bouncing around the US for a couple of years before being sent over seas to Italy in late 2018.  

A few weeks ago, still in Italy, Hunter was involved in a car accident and shattered his pelvis, among other injuries. After surgery and once he was cleared to fly he was reassigned to a base in the states, an Airforce base in Dayton Ohio to work out of their JAG offices as a research assistant while he is healing.  He was given the number and contact information for a Physical Therapist that had worked at the VA hospital in Columbus but then relocated to Lima of all places.  Given his injuries and the distance between Dayton and Lima, Hunter is currently working remotely via the internet 4 days a week, and one day a week he is goes to Dayton.  

Hunter is currently staying in a small modest suite at a chain hotel in Lima, and will go from using a wheel chair, to crutches, to a cane as his pelvis heals and he can put more and more weight on his legs (over the course of 7 weeks- 1 more week in a wheelchair, 3 on crutches, 3 with a cane.)  Hunter finds it ironic that he’s in Lima of all places, but isn’t really expecting to run into anyone he knew during his brief stay in Ohio before.  He is talking mild prescription pain killers for pain while he goes through Physical Therapy.  

While at Dalton Hunter called himself ‘not even remotely bicurious’ but this was actually not true at all.  Hunter was just, even at a teenager, discrete about his orientation and he remains so, although he has dated and slept with a couple of women and men.

hey lima loves, 

thank you for such an incredible opening week! we have been blown away by both the talent and plots which are already shining on our dash.

From next week you’ll see a slightly different weekly check-in (so feel free to wait with bated breath for that) but for today there’s just a couple of announcements we have so please have a read - they’re really important!

ACTIVITY: so far the activity around this place has been amazing, everyone has been interacting with each other and plotting and it’s warmed my cold heart. but to make sure we don’t go down the bubble rping path, in order make activity please make sure you’re interacting with at least three different people. we’ve got plenty of muses around here, so it’s real simple. we understand that life gets hectic (and YOU come first) so if at anytime you need a hiatus, do just let us know. 

OOC: we love discord. it’s a platform for us all to tastefully roast each other while building friendships, and plots. but as a general reminder we are an inclusive group, and above all we have to respect each other. so please respect everyone’s cultures, identities, and triggers. there is always a line between being playful and being hurtful. let’s please keep this a safe place.

Name: Stacie Evans Age of Character: 24 Occupation: Kindergarten teacher Pronouns/Sexual Orientation: she/her, lesbian Birthday: March 19

Stacie Evans grew up in a house filled with love. Her parents adored their three children, and worked tirelessly to make sure they never wanted for anything in life. Her parents taught her that the most important thing to be in life, was kind, and that’s something that Stacie took with her well into her adult years. When her family moved to Lima, Stacie was excited and full of hope, but things quickly went downhill. Whilst she was too young to really understand the seriousness of her father losing his job, she remembers the nights in the motel, her and Stevie cramped up into one bed. She remembers having to move yet again, and how Sam had to work late nights, though she didn’t know at the time just what he was up to. That was when Stacie vowed that when she was old enough to do so, she’d work just as hard as Sam to keep her family happy. So that’s exactly what she did. As soon as she turned 16, she started working in a clothes store, and all of the money she earned was shared between supporting her family, and her college tuition fund. Not that she ended up needing it in the end - her stellar grades, and impressive and extensive extra-curriculars earned her a full ride to UCLA to study teaching. It’s been a couple years now since she graduated, and moved back to Lima to be closer to her elder brother, and she’s happier than ever working as a kindergarten teacher. Her greatest joy is knowing that she gets to shape the minds of young people, and she just hopes that she can pass on the same kindness that her mother passed onto her.
