"Not a lot has changed '' Do il commented, swirling his glass though it was a lie, a lot had changed. Whenever they met it was often them discussing how to navigate through Sanga ah and her husband's constant schemes, that now it seemed strange to be sitting in a fancy place and not worry about what their next move was gonna be. 

"ehhh... What do you mean… so much has changed, we're finally at peace and not worried about something or the other crazy thing going" in joo laughed. 

Doil smiled, "how about you tell me what more has changed?"

"tsk what do you think happens in Seoul except working 9-5? Eh… apart from a disastrous blind date… probably nothing much"

Ouch, doil internally winced but felt relieved after knowing it was well…disastrous. 

"That's heartbreaking indeed" doil commented seriously but there was a teasing edge to his tone. 

"Well, never mind.. It's not like I had better luck… you should be telling me about Greece, how is it? Did you get yourself a foreign girlfriend?" asked in joo playfully but she felt nervous even putting those words out there, perhaps In joo too was hoping to find out it wasn't the case. 

"Greece is fine, beaches are good too-" do il paused 

"-but it doesn't have what Seoul has, my heart is here….and as for a girlfriend- there's someone I'm already in love with" do il's tone was so "as a matter of fact" that in joo seemed to have misinterpreted it. 

"ehh…well,  seoul has its own charm I guess, but wherever you're going to have your wedding, I'd at least expect an invite"

"I don't think you'll need an invitation, if you're the bride"

In Joo's face fell,

"since I'm in love with you"

"still- it's not like I know the bride personally, it would be awkward-" In joo laughed while speaking animatedly until she paused 

"what-"

 In joo's heart was racing as if it was participating in a marathon.

"In joo-shi I'm going to say this knowing well, you could completely reject me if you so wish and I'm alright with that. I just want you to know that I came back to Seoul because I had to say something to you"

"-I really really like you. I've liked you since the moment I realized that I would not run to anyone else, that I would not be worried about anyone else's well being as much as yours" Doil said it more calmly then he was expecting. 

But he said it and that was a weight off his chest. 

"I always liked guys who drove German cars,  I hope you have one or my sisters will be quite disappointed" In joo finally said.  

Doil laughed, "I made sure, I came in a German car today"

"your chances are very high now"

"should I take it as a yes?"

"yes"
