Pairing: Wi Ha Joon x Female Reader

Its slow burn but hopefully you will read until end

You are an k-drama actress appearing on a variety show that takes place at the country side of the Korean Peninsula. Even though you have been an actress for a long time, you are still nervous in front of the camera.

You greet the staff of the show after getting down from you black van. You notice that you are the first member of the lineup to arrive to the set.

You move to the small white van placed just outside the video village to get you hair and makeup done.

As you try to leave the makeup van by opening the door, it opens and your costar Wi Hajoon comes in. You play as detective partners in the thriller movie Notorious. He was wearing a black short sleeve shirt with khaki pants that looked like it was tailored for him because of how well it suited him. Due to playing as friends in the movie you guys are comfortable with each other. Both of you greet very enthusiastically and you leave the van to let him finish his hair and makeup.

After 2 hours, the filming begins and Kang Ho Dong is the MC along with Cho Se Ho.

You greet them and the MCs ask you and Hajoon to introduce yourselves.

The MCs asks questions about the movie to you two and asks you to promote your movie.

You tell them why you took the role and what was the challenges in the role, then Seho asked about yours and Hajoon's chemistry on screen.

You got flustered but answered it anyway

" Meeting someone for many times in the name of script reading, director meeting, auditions before the actual filming starts will definitely make you friends. I think he is the reason why I felt comfortable in my character's skin, because there is not that much of difference between his character and the real Wi Ha joon. So the friendship in our characters was built strongly mostly because of Hajoon" you explained.

Hajoon responded dramatically by placing a hand on his heart and wiping his imaginary tears which a brought a wave of laughter from the cast and staffs.

Hodong instructed us to change our clothes to fishing friendly clothes. After we changed we were separated into two groups of two members:

Group1: Cho Seho and myself and we were responsible for catching Alaska pollock or Myeongtae.

Group2: Kang Hodong and Wi Hajoon and were responsible for catching abalones or Jeonbok.

We got separated and went to do our work.

You had an hard time trying to catch fishes but in the end you catched two and Seho catches two too.

You brought your fishes to the place where it will be cooked and started to slow cook the fish as it might take time to cook them.

As you were chatting about childhood memories with Seho in front of camera.You saw Hajoon and Hodong through your peripheral vision and they looked like they were about to scare Seho. You kept Seho distracted as they slowly approach him from the back.

Hodong and Hajoon screamed "Stir fried anchovies"or "Myeolchi bokkum " in Seho's ears.

Seho blasted off his seat and did a bouncy dance as he got scared by them

The whole set was rolling on the floor laughing because of Seho.

You almost dropped the bowl in which you were making ssamjang or Chili soy sauce paste because of your laughter.

The abalone were cleaned by Hajoon and Hodong.

"My father had an abalone farm , it was a stable food in our household. As I wash this abalones I get so many memories in my mind of how much I hated abalones. Now I regret not having abalones,as they taste amazing on ramen" said Hajoon

"As you said ramen and abalone taste good together. Shall we have it today?" Asked Hodong.

I focused on Hajoon , how he was comfortable in the countryside, how he worked diligently in getting all the dirt off of the abalones just like how passionate he is during acting, how he didn't judge my acting skills , how he always brought sunshine to my life with his bright smile and my heart skipped a beat. I hit myself mentally for having those thoughts about my best friend, but what he doesn't know won't hurt right?

Then after the meals were cooked, we served the meals in different bowls.

"Let's play a game" said Hodong.

We perked our heads, " All four of us should play separately rock paper scissors and the losers cannot eat this meal, they have to have meal in an restaurant".

Hajoon and I were determined in beating them but we soon realized that we are the blackholes in rock paper scissors. The MCs won without breaking a sweat. Now me and Hajoon were on our way to a good restaurant that sells seafood meals.

"Hope the restaurant has better seafood than Alaska pollock and abalones" said Hajoon.

"I hope that too, we can rub it in their faces that we ate better than them" I replied.

The breeze blew my hair as we got down at a decent restaurant that had good menu and reviews in the internet.

Hajoon saw that and felt his heart beat fast. He thought of the beauty he had always by his side throughout the filming, who was not intimidated by him and how foolish he was for not realizing it sooner but he gave himself a encouragement by saying it is not late.

He knew you were single at least he was when you answered to that question that was asked by a staff during the wrap up party. Maybe you got a man recently but that thought weirdly squeezed his heart painfully. He snapped out of the dream when he felt you hands clutch his biceps urging to go inside the restaurant, complaining that you were hungry. God how he wanted to kiss those lips while squeezing your cheeks.

Even after going inside he was lost in thoughts about your beauty. His mind was running so fast that he saw himself and you in the distant future still making each other's heart beat, going on dates, having lots of homemade meals and late night chats. He even thought about his marriage and his future kids but quickly reminded himself that he would get married and have kids only if you were okay with that too. A family of your own.

What he didn't know is that the woman of his dreams sitting opposite to him was also dreaming of the man opposite her and dreamed of a future with him that definitely looked bright, of course years of acting in dramas and movies didn't change their common sense, they knew that there will be fights and both of them promised to cherish and learn from them to become a better part of themselves.

Your dream was cut short when the restaurant owner, a lady in her 50s or 60s with short curly hair, floral print shirt ad black pant greeted them cheerfully. Hajoon said his and your orders.

Hajoon decided to speak. " Are you thinking about dating anyone?" He asked directly.

You were taken back but put on a confident face and said " I have interest in dating infact I already have a guy in my mind".

You watched as his face fell, " Oh! How is he like? , what does he do for work?, where did you meet him?" He continued.

You answered him truthfully, by a light twitch of his eyes and mouth you thought he had an idea of who that person is.

You were nervous because of that, thinking you would get rejected by him, so before he could open his mouth to say something you interrupted him by asking the same question.

He replied that he has a girl in mind too. You felt sad all of a sudden , you got up to wash your face but he grabbed your wrist and asked where you were going, "Restroom" you replied, "listen to how she is like and where I met her before going to the restroom, okay?" He asked with puppy eyes. You said yes.

His description of the girl felt very similar, you searched your brain to match the girl with his description but it hit you that the information he gave was about you.

You excused yourself to go to the restroom not for the previous reason but to tap your cheeks with cold water to reduce the heat there.

You came back and sat in front of him, "Shall we accept that we like each other and consider today as our first date?" You asked confidently.

"Yes and yes" Hajoon replied back.

He moved to your side and sat close to you that your thighs touched. He put an arm around the chair behind you. This stance was very charismatic and made you heart feel like it was trying to break out of your chest.

You kept looking down but Hajoon's finger came under your chin to left your face and bring to his level. He held eye contact for a long time making your heart race even faster if it is possible.

"God! Can I kiss you? Cause I can't control anymore my need to ki-" he was intrupted by you saying "yes".

His soft pink lips met yours in a delicate manner, slowly the kiss expressed more and more emotions, this brought your emotions to bubble.

You were so emotional that when the kiss ended you blurted out " Don't leave me".

Thankfully, Hajoon thought it was cute and said

"Oh Honey, I plan on taking our love for a long trip, a one that lasts a lifetime".
