i didnt know that wv existed before i read the comic (everything i knew beforehand was osmosed from my old friendgroup) and i ended up like Way more invested in whatever he was doing than like. The actual main plot of the comic. theyd be talking about the game and time travel and such id be like yeah okay cool and then itd cut back to wv and the gang doing their stuff on post-apocalypse earth and id be like Oh hell yeah. Hell yeah. didnt know equius existed either they (the old friendgroup) just never talked about him

The fandom playing damara for sex jokes is kinda sad, she has a whole arc from shy girl stuck on a country nobody understands her to losing the >only< person she could rely on and being bullied for it to fucking selling her friends souls to the devil in response and refusing to engage then in the afterlife

While they were mostly gags and remixes of the other characters, I genuinely think the beforans were so interesting!

But maybe thats just cause I love unreality politics and kankris rants / the damara storyline were interesting
