As I was writing parents heid headcanons yesterday I just suddenly thought of something. Not sure if anyone has already explored this but,

As Jack gets older he starts inheriting both of his father's mannerisms and style.

He loves wearing sneakers whenever they go out, and he likes wearing mismatched socks.

But he also loves little suits and ties and Aaron purchased him so many after Jack asked if he could wear it when they go out.

So Jack essentially dresses as combination of his father's style. Sometimes suit, sometimes pressed shirt with sleeves rolled up to elbows, little tie, (a bit crooked), sneakers and mismatched socks.

Jack loves Spencer's hair and wants to grow his hair so he could match with his Papa. Aaron is initially against it because he thought Jack is bound to get irritated with hair falling in his eyes, but he loves how both Spencer and Jack wear matching man buns at home.

Jack loves collecting coins and it's just so endearing for Aaron because he never told anything about it to jack and he inherited it on his own. So one day he sits jack down and shows him his own collection and Jack looks so proud to have same hobby as his dad and Spencer is just an emotional mess watching his boys so happy!!

Jack also loves writing. He writes little letters, (1 or 2 lines max coz he is still a child) whenever his daddies are on case. And he keeps them in their bedroom and first thing they both do after coming home and freshening up is to read all those little letters. It's just a line or two but it expresses that their child remembered them at some point in his day and wrote it down. And Aaron always fondly thanks Spencer because Jack picked up on the habit after watching his Papa write letters to his mum!

The Time Gem rarely intervenes in the affairs of those who wield it. But with its siblings shattered and the Incursions on the horizon, it decides to take matters into its own hands. The warmth hits Charles full force as he steps out of the elevator into the penthouse foyer, the contrast against his cold extremities sending a shiver down his spine. Snow is almost a guarantee in New York at this time of year, and they've been hit harder than usual the past four days. It's almost unbearable for Charles to go outside for any real length of time, and makes him think once again of moving them someplace with better weather year around; like Rio perhaps, or maybe Barcelona.

Charles, Raven calls from the leather sofa, where she's seated with her back to him, facing the windows that look out over the city's twinkling lights. There are candles everywhere, and a fire burning hot in the glass enclosed fireplace, casting long shadows against the walls and the white plush carpeting. He locks eyes with her reflection as he quickly strips out of his winter gear, and smiles when she grins at him, baring fangs that are red and dripping with blood.

Happy Valentine's Day, big brother...I brought you a present.

A present that you opened without me, he chides, letting his telepathy reach out and wind around Raven like a lover's kiss. It must be quite alluring, if you couldn't wait to have a little taste.

Raven laughs, tilting her head up to meet Charles as he leans over to kiss her. The rich, metallic taste makes him groan in her mouth, his tongue greedy for the remnants of blood still clinging to her lips. I'm sorry; I couldn't resist, she says, not sounding sorry at all, as Charles circles the sofa to get a better look at her gift. You'll understand, when you see his face.

A man is laying prone on the cushions, his head pillowed on Raven's lap, the white of his shirt collar wrenched open and stained red with his blood. His brown hair is a bit lighter and his cheek bones less pronounced, and with his eyes closed Charles can't tell if they're the right shade of grey. But everything else about him is eerily Erik-like, from his broad shoulders to his long fingers and the lean, muscled frame.

"My darling," he breathes, as he kneels before them both, watching Raven's fingers carding rhythmically through the man's hair. He presses his thumb against the man's mouth, parting his lips, and imagines biting down with his teeth, feeling the blood surge against his tongue as he drinks, and drinks, and drinks...

"He's perfection."

"Not quite," Raven demurs, with a wicked gleam in her eye. "But we'll catch up to the real thing, soon enough."
