meet my sonic oc, Lyla the Raccoon!! :D She is a trans raccoon from the future, here’s a little bio :) obviously needs tweaking and not her final design lol

Lyla was stranded in the past while trying to prevent a dystopian future. Her future restoration team/friend group was named “The Metal Band,” with her preferred nickname being “Copper”.* The team had created a time machine using the mysterious Time Stones. But an attack by the megalomaniac AI dictator Eggman Neo** had broke the machine, sending Lyla into the past. Lost and alone and with the future uncertain, Lyla finally decided to embrace her inner self, adopting her new name and seeking help in her local Restoration office. Now, she navigates an unfamiliar and exciting new world, searching for a way to find her friends and herself along the way. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she stumbles upon a robot-run circus!! (which is where she will meet someone special, i need to draw them first)

*this is when she figures herself out a bit, she’s not comfortable using her birth name so adopts the name copper to fit with her new friends, who i haven’t done designs for, but just know that silver and gold the tenrec from archie are members

**rewriting Eggman Nega to be an AI instead of whatever he is in my version of things as: a.) i don’t like the name and b.) i don’t see eggman reproducing, and he has sage :) she basically creates an AI version of Eggman after he passes who is a cold and calculating villain, a distorted version of Eggman. also to explain the weird inconsistency he has with being from the future but also from blaze’s world he is like omnipresent or something lol i haven’t thought much

attack of the clones

i’ve watched this movie the most out of every star wars movie for some reason, i think as a kid i just loved the battle of geonosis, and i had the score stuck in my head so many times 😭

padme and anakin’s relationship is really forced, like the first actual conversation they have is just him venting about obi wan, and he has so many red flags like killing tusken raiders pain babies and his political views. well i guess some people do like guys like that 🤷‍♀️

im so frustrated with the jedi, like padme says, “anger is human” i mean they are obviously good but without things like love and family they crack? its like toxic positivity basically

christopher lee does such a great job acting as dooku, his grin during dookus fight against obi-wan *chefs kiss*

i love the idea of the clones, this movie doesn’t do well with them as they are just minions, the show and literally anything else with clones do much better job in humanising them, but i guess they didn’t have much time

also why does padme slay so hard she has so many outfits??

this one was just sad, it sucks so bad to see dooku mourn his padawan qui gon and also feel so guilty about all the deaths he himself has caused. in the past couple toj episodes with him it he cared so much about greedy senators/rich and powerful only having their own interests at heart and stomping out people, only for he himself to do that by working with palpatine. very hypocritical lol. also rip yaddle

forces of destiny - monster misunderstanding

going into this post i had no idea this show was even a thing? it even has two seasons lmao?? oh i just watched it all the episodes are like 2 minutes long so nothing much to talk about lmao, seeing padme get some poachers arrested was cool to see tho

obi-wan and anakin (comic miniseries)

a fun little miniseries, beautiful art. palpatine taking anakin to the casino was fun, i wish there was more of anakin and palpatine mischief but the comic is named obi-wan and anakin after all. the story of a war absolutely destroying a planet and two sides still wanting to battle while one person tries to bring them together with art was cute. idk what it meant when it says she “spoke like a jedi from years ago” or something like that in her distress signal, and her instructions to send the signal was implied to be from sith? idk

the phantom menace

such a good bad film. i love the start to this movie. i love the podracing, everything feels so weighty and just the noises everything makes grahh i love it. love all the silly little guys filling every scene. the jedi council see anakin’s failings a mile away yet qui gon and anakin’s mother are very hopeful for him. very tragic. i always say this but politics and silly/campy stuff are my favourite things in star wars, maybe a bit too much silly stuff sometimes (jar jar gets a bit annoying) just a bit of wooden lines some times and maul has nothing to say.

everything before this in the rewatch have been first watches, this is a rewatch

it was amazing seeing dooku and qui gon’s apprenticeship, as a kid i wondered a lot what their relationship would be like. great episode and very leftist i think. i love politics in my star wars, and seeing dooku take on a corrupted senator with force and qui gon deescalatimg the situation was cool to see.

not much to say again, but i do have a few things to say about dooku. his arc is crazy, going from caring so much about corrupt politicians not having the people’s best interests at heart and instead serving the interests of the rich and powerful, and then basically becoming a corrupt rich and powerful politician. it’s like the star wars version of the alt-right pipeline lmao

episode 6

this episode and the last have really great pacing, that one was a really big battle and this one takes things a bit slower. i love the villain and osha’s chemistry and mae being really awkward pretending to be osha, with sol finally catching on. bazil is really funny this episode. i feel that the villain’s master was vernestra. speaking of vernestra, she was so cool this episode and omgggg her whip 🙏

episode 7

okay i have no idea what’s happening, it’s all too complicated 😭 so aniseya wants osha to go with the jedi but the other mother doesn’t and gets mae to lock osha in and gets everyone to attack?? i don’t get it. and when i watched it i thought sol killed aniseya on purpose but now that i think about it it’s probably just an accident because he’s not used to the smoke form or whatever. idk how everyone else in the coven died when indara got the other mother out of the wookies mind.

episode 8

what a weird finale? there’s not even gonna be a season 2 or anything?? crazy work 😭 i love how the girls roles have been reversed from the start to the end of the show, it was a bit predictable that that would happen tho. who was the random guy that watched osha and qimir get in the ship? are they together by the end? because cool i like that.

well this episode is have nothing to talk about at all, it’s just there, they’re getting from point a to point b, mae wants to give herself up. idk it’s not that good it’s just setting up more stuff and that’s fine. ki adi mundi shows up, idk much about him

ok this was a loaded episode, all the jedi gone 😭 it’s pretty interesting, i wonder what sol and the other jedi stationed on osha’s planet did? and wow, mae’s master revealed to be the guy from before (idk how to explain it) and he’s hot. overall amazing fights as well, damnnn it could get so brutal and rip jecki (i dont care for yord as much lmao) but yord did have a smart move using the master’s helmet to short out his own lightsaber.

also a bit off topic to the acolyte, but now i regret not putting the high republic books/comics in my watch order, apparently they’re really good and even have queer characters grahhhh 😭💔 but i already have so much to get through
