I had an idea for a new Wings of Fire OC...

Meet Moonstone, the IceWing/NightWing animus~!

Moonstone had always been a determined dragonet. Observant, cunning, brilliant- she shone bright, and she made sure everyone knew not to mess with her. From the day she'd hatched, she knew the world would be her's...

But growing up all-powerful wasn't always easy. No one saw her as her own dragon, just someone to use or someone to fear. It was never about her, only her power, or her status as a princess. But then...

Then you arrived in her life, the stillness in the eye of the hurricane that was her life. You didn't know anything about her, only seeing a potential friend. She wasn't a threat in your eyes, just a fellow dragonet. She wasn't someone to use, just someone in need of a friend. You were kind, charming, funny, and smart. How could she not adore you? You made her feel special, cared for. Like she wasn't alone...

Of course she had to challenge the queen for the throne. Of course she won. Of course she made both of your enemies suffer. And of course she wouldn't let you go. But you... you were protected. By her own magic... A silver ring, a shining moonstone in its center, enchanted to keep you safe and unable to be enchanted by any animus with it on. So it kept you safe from others... including her.

And clever, clever you, ran away. Flew off to some distant kingdom, never looked back, and was now forever our of reach. Maybe Moknstome couldn't have you... but her descendants? They'd one day find yours, and then they'd be friends, and this time, they'd never, ever be alone, and they'd never, ever be without an ally.

So enjoy winning this time, Reader... Your luck won't last forever...

Okay, Wings of Fire fans, I'm doing my first canon Wings of Fire character platonic yandere! And it's our favorite deranged queen of the mountains, Queen Scarlet!!! (This is my first time writing for a Canon WoF character, so we'll see how this goes)

Scarlet wasn't one for attachments. Caring, for dragons? Bleugh! She cared about beauty, treasure, bloody entertainment, thrilling twists and turns! She isn't one to think highly of anyone but herself.

But then...

Well, then you showed up.

You were the egg of a relative she'd recently had killed, a lonely little thing with no one else to care for them... She thought of smashing your egg herself, or having Peril burn it up, but before she remembered to have you executed you'd hatched. And something about you... it made her feel something. Something new.

Your scales were perfect, glistening like gems. Your eyes were like gold, shining and pure. Your neck and your tail curved just so, your claws were like small curved sickles. For once, she'd met a dragon who seemed... flawless. She wasn't sure if she was jealous or if she wanted to have it for herself...

But then you'd yawned, blinked those golden eyes up at her, and placed a small talon on hers. Fine, fine, she'd keep you alive... for now. If you proved to be too much trouble, she could always take a piece from Burn's scroll and have you stuffed.

Scarlet found as the years went by, and you grew older, that her idea had been brilliant. Finally, she had an heir (of sorts) who could never take her throne, could never be a threat, and who would never think to betray her. After all, she'd graciously raised them as if her own, fed them, gave them the shiniest jewels (that she didn't want), and had spared them the same fate as their treacherous parent... So really, she was the best mother ever...

However, she didn't appreciate other dragons sucking up to you. They wanted her to like them, so they thought if you did, then they'd be spared her wrath. Hah! That was not true in the least. Anyone who dared try to turn you against her was thrown in her arena, if not turned to ashes by Peril. She didn't tolerate anyone messing with her perfect dragonet.

When Glory scarred her, though... she lost everything. Her kingdom, her riches, her allies... and you. You'd disappeared, stolen by those horrible, rotten dragonets! She fumed in her prison, yelling at Smolder from the darkness. At first she was enraged... then tired... then lonely.

You were the only dragon who ever saw any good in her... who didn't fear her or hate her... She was all alone, no one to adore her, no one to entertain her, and no one to care or mourn... You wouldn't have done this to her. You would come back for her, wouldn't you? Surely you'd take her back, you must be furious with those insipid dragonets, you must want to take back her throne from Ruby, you must want to break the alliance with Burn and avenge her...

Please. Please don't forget about her. Don't leave her. Don't abandon her. She... she promises to be better. Did you want her to try and hug you? She'd try... Did you want her to make you her heir? Of course, you were the only dragon she trusted to take the throne after her! Did you want her to care? ... She... could she? Was she able to? But... this was for you. And while she hates thinking of others, she does think of you, constantly. And if it meant you'd choose her... then she'd steal the moons for you...

Okay, so, imagine a Reader who is an animus, but has to hide it. No one knows, no one can ever know...

They know if anyone found out, everyone would want something, or try and force them to serve them or their queen, or would possibly fear them or hate them or suck up to them, none of which they want. What's a dragon to do, but hide this secret?

I imagine they're quite beautiful/handsome/stunning, in a melancholic, dreamy sort of way. If they wear anything, it probably either is a cloak, a veil, or something hard to take off, like an embedded gem or a tattoo...

And you just know the X-Dragons want to befriend this quiet, melancholy, sad dragon, who thinks of others and shares food freely and gives gifts to others when they're down. Of course... what would happen if thry found out their secret?

Morph would definitely be a RainWing (possibly even a Queen). Amd they'd flaunt it. Sorry, but that's their suntime nap spot! Hmmmm, they'd like THAT piece of fruit, thank you, four to be exact! No, you can't try to romance their brooding bodyguard/partner, he's taken- by THEM, to he exact, same with their advisor, and their doctor, and maybe, just maybe, a few other dragons...

They'd adore Reader in any Wings of Fire AU. Sorry, but Reader is THEIR silly or grumpy or anxious dragonet, so back off! No, they aren't sharing, unless it's with their lovely partners, or Reader's friends or siblings! And no one better try to harm them, or they'll get a face full of venom and an assassin or two at their doorstep, courtesy of them~

(If Morph was from any other tribe, such as an au where everyone is from the same tribe or mutants are one tribe, I imagine they'd have paler scales than is normal, and paler eyes, too...)

Imagine in the wof au dragonet!reader is the first to hatch of all the eggs and after getting a good look at everything around them, they crawl over to the nearest wiggling egg and just BONKS their skull against the eggshell to free their friend/sibling.

The adult watching the eggs is just like 😦 as they watch the second hatched dragonet get dragged out of their egg like they already owe reader money.

Then they hold the reader up away from the eggs when another adult bursts into the nursery demanding to know what's up

Hahaha! YES! First, yay, a Wings of Fire fan! Second, yes, someone who asks about it! Let's call you... hmmm... Which dragon tribe is your favorite? Then we can call you that tribe Anon.

Newly hatched baby dragonet Reader, just bonking their head against their siblings/friends shells to help them hatch: 😃🥴🗯🐾🥚

The adults watching them: 😨😱

Adults: snatch Reader back, only after they already opened an egg or two

Random adult entering the nursery: Hey, what'd I miss?

Random adult: sees dragon Logan or Victor holding Reader high up and like they're dangerous, dragon Storm or Mystique checking the remaining eggs, and dragon Xavier or Magneto face-palming in annoyed despair Ummm... I see now is not a good time promptly leaves

The moment they get tiny baby Reader away from the eggs and check gheif head, they're placing then in a little nest (for nap time or time out is up to you). It's especially funny if Reader is a bigwings, or is a powerful or royal sibling. Amd the adults are all just, trying to figure out how to raise these five, seven, or ten different dragon babies, with little to no clue on how to raise children. So expect a few learning curbs, panicked adults, and lots of parenting scrolls...

(Reader books their head head into a lot of things, such as the walls, the floor, the adults' legs, their siblings, their siblings' heads, the shelves, etc. . They just can't seem to stop hitting their head, that the adults start to worry about their sight and if Reader has a concussion-)

I had another platonic yandere X-Men dream! In it, Reader had been caught and brought to a large, lush place, with rivers and green grass and lots of nature, and they were at first curious... until they were told they couldn't leave. Then they just laid curled up on their side, trying not to cry. It then cut to platonic yandere Sabretooth, who recognizes that Reader is like him and the other mutants there: a dragon. He can smell they're a young one, and is worried about them. He plans to investigate, try to cheer them up, maybe help them get a bath in the nearby stream to get off all the dirt and sweat... (It turns out that the place is a reserve for dragons, Reader was a new, kinda baby one, and they were brought there to be with other dragons, all of whom are very loving and gentle towards them, and want to help them enjoy their new environment and home).

The funny thing is, they all appeared human on the surface... So I guess they were dragons in disguise, or in human form? Either way, I had another platonic yandere X-Men dream, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Platonic Yandere Prophecy AU Ideas:

Imagine some of the X-Men teens from X-Men Evo are dragonets of a prophecy, and Reader is also part of the prophecy! They're hatched to stop a great evil, or to end a war, or supposes to choose a new queen... It can be five dragonets (like the dragonets of destiny and the JMA dragonets), or seven dragonets (one for each Pyrrhian tribe), or even ten dragonets (one for each tribe). I don't mind hearing ideas for it, or anything like that!

Now, there's also the adults, wondering where they come into this. I have a few ideas. They could either be

• The great evil they need to stop (or join)

• The next dragon queen/king

• Their guardians

• Their parents (who could be royalty or crime lords or someone who desperately missed their babies and tore apart the kingdom searching for them)

• They could even be a tribe or hybrids, similar to the NightWings, who set up the prophecy to help save them all

I imagine the dragonets are pretty close (if they were all raised together). They feel like they were destined to be friends, or siblings, and yearn to join the world and explore it and fulfill the prophecy... But they can't agree on what is right or wrong, and what they should do to fulfill their purpose...

Or... they were all hatched separately, raised apart, but the ones who found out who they truly are set put to reunite them and be a family and save the world (or rule it). They can't wait to find their siblings or friends, their destined family, and save the world! They'll be together, and never worry again, or have to lose each other...

Platonic Yandere Wings of Fire X-Men would make quite the impression on Reader, no matter who's the queen or the council or the royal family or guards, etc. ... But I can't help but imagine a jewelry maker, or fashion icon, with dragonet or young adult Reader...

With this idea, I keep imagining a Reader who is a young fashion designer or fashion icon. They style all kinds of jewelry, with inspiration and looks from all the different tribes and millenia of fashion, using all kinds of gems or crystals or stones, even bones... If they say light chains with small gemstones are in, that's the new look. If they say diamonds are outdated, most dragons go for a new gemstone to wear. If Reader says it, wears it, or says they like it, that's what's in, and plenty of dragons follow suit.

It becomes a small problem when different royals or nobles want Reader's help with their look, or designing gifts, or ceremonial pieces. It also gives them excuse to be closer to them, without anyone thinking it odd. Sure, sure, everyone is loyal to their own tribe; everyone thinks their tribe is the best! But, well, Reader is the one exception. They are probably a hybrid, so many dragons can lay claim that Reader must be from their tribe, with their superior tastes and talents. Others claim Reader must have been a queen's illegitimate heir, or a stolen one, to have such grandeur and confidence.

In the end, it doesn't really matter. Reader is someone everyone wants to know, and everyone wants Reader to actually be part of their tribe. Even if they aren't, they'd still want them. Especially since Reader is said to be quite... nice, amd charitable, for being in high demand. Yet no one knows where they came from or what tribes they're from...

Platonic Yandere SeaWing Queen... (Either an OC, or imagine Storm the X-Man) (especially the Evolution version)

She's somehow your mom. Maybe you were stolen as an egg, and had only found your way home now. Maybe you were raised separately by a family member, or an enemy to the crown. Or maybe you're a commoner, a random dragonet or young adult who she simply believed, full heartedly, was her baby.

And now she won't leave you alone.

Wherever you go, she's either with you, or one of your many siblings is, or your cousins, or her top guards. It doesn't matter if you're going to the Summer Palace or to the Deep Palace, out hunting fish or gathering pearls, flying or swimming, awake or asleep, someone has to be watching you at all times. It's maddening. Amd the nicknames! Babyfins, angelfish, little pearl, sweet anemone, cuddly seal- She doesn't care if you like it or not, she's calling you that, for everyone to hear, and no one questions her or laughs, in fear she'll cut out their tongue or pop off their scales one by one...

Your family loves you, reminds you of it every day. They don't mind being cruel to others if they think they're a danger to you, and certainly don't mind offing any enemies you have. It's scary, but all you can do is request they either imprison them or exile them, otherwise your new "family" will decide what the proper punishment is for them...

You can tell your... mother... is trying. She's not a bad queen, or a bad matriarch to the royal family, but she... she doesn't stand disobedience. Or questioning her authority. Or defying her or the family. She rewards those who show especially charitable acts or help the tribe majorly. She punishes those who try to hurt her dragons or betray the tribe. She let's you eat with the rest of the family and council. She makes sure you're sleeping in a comfortable kelp bed in a room with her or your siblings or cousins. She makes sure you aren't lonely. But she won't ever let you go, or let you out of sight...

So... has anyone ever wondered about platonic yandere wings of fire ocs? Or X-Men? Because... you are in the right place! I do things like this:

Rule One: I write either for platonic yandere Wings of Fire ocs, or for platonic yandere X-Men characters as dragons from Wings of Fire; no crossovers, Wings of Fire ocs don't meet the X-Men, and the X-Men are in their own separate universe where they are dragons, so no one crosses over

Rule Two: No romantic yanderes! I don't write for romance, amd I won't accept requests for romance between Reader and anyone else! Only platonic stuff!

Rule Three: I can write angst or fluff or even dark stuff, but I won't write anything s*xual or gross
