I've been thinking more about how males believe they invented all progress, science and literature in the world, and they say this as if, you know, it's a great achievement, and everything we have right now we can thank them for having it, like it's some great debt we owe to mankind.
But from the women's perspective, what use was this 'progress' to us? All that 'progress' in science and medicine, but women die from preventable diseases. Our issues are neither researched nor have cures developed for it. Women suffer with chronic conditions for majority of their lives, are under-educated about their own bodies and health issues they're likely to develop, and when they do develop them, often they'll be dismissed by their doctors, or told there's nothing that can be done, because the research isn't there, and doctors will tell women to just eat differently and exercise instead of treating them. We are told that we live in a progressive and developed world, and then be cast aside as not important enough to be a part of this progress or development, we're stuck in 'be your own doctor' land, healthcare barely exists for us. It used to be researched and developed though, there were women who worked hard on making medicine, figuring out how to cure women's diseases, how to take away the pain from cramps and found solutions with no side effects. So what happened to that? They were burned as witches, their work was destroyed, and womenkind was cut off from progress. Thanks m*n.
Again we're told we live in a civilized world, but the issues of domestic violence, marital rape, murder, assault and abuse in marriage and within the women's home, is rampant to the point where the only goal of any woman's life is to not end up at her death's door due to a violent male in her house. What has male progress done to help these women? Oh they did nothing, women built the shelters themselves, they're receiving very little funding, and these spaces still get violated by males, and are temporary, and not a permanent solution for a betterment of women's life. Again, women are left in dust, in abusive marriages, in desolation, progress of the world not taking the time to resolve the most dire issues of women's survival in the world. M*n only keep making the issue worse with the pay gap, underfunding any field of work where women are predominantly employed and spreading propaganda that women's place is working as a servant in her husband's house.
Culture is another thing m*n consider to belong to them but what is culture, how do we define it? Language, food, clothing, stories, myths and legends, books, music, symbolism, religious practices. Who does all of that? Women do. M*n just get to enjoy it. They get to eat the food and enjoy the festivals and wear the clothing women made, they make the language misogynistic while women add to it and create more of it, they twist stories to express misogyny but it's women telling the stories to their kids and families. Art is another form of cultural expression but trough every culture m*n considered art to majorly be objectification of women, I don't consider what they do art. I think they should keep that stuff inside and let women do art. In our art they're depicted human, despite the reality of it.
They want to cosider themselves the most brilliant thinkers and masters of literature but most of the works they publish has misogyny in it; they consider hating women as a part of their brilliance. And even after we found out that a lot of the classics have been written, edited, managed, and shaped by these m*n's wives and sometimes even plagirized from women in their lives, the women still do not get the credit. M*n finding out that it was the work of women that made world fame, doesn't make them change their opinion that the credit should still belong to the m*n who profited off of it, the idea that a woman should take credit for anything is laughable. We could have written every last piece of literature on the planet, and a m*n would have signed it and said 'we made the best literature in the world'. It wouldn't have mattered to them.
I don't think m*n should be credited with any accomplishment in science because every single time I read a book on science written by a woman, she reveals about the true female research, exploration, labour and efforts to make a progress, and then how easily m*n on her team took the credit, half of the time not even knowing how to use the instruments she used. Programming, computers, moon landing, sea exploration, developing vaccines, medicinal practices, it was all women, and we don't credit them. This is further supported by the fact that as soon as women start engaging in academia, or participate in science fields, they almost immediately outpreform m*n and take over the field. Even with hundreds of years of advantage, access and self-celebration, women somehow immediately become better as soon as they're allowed to be a part of it. And nobody points it out, nobody gives women the recognition. They just quietly de-fund the field and go invent cryptocurrency or nft's or AI or some other field they can get rich by scamming, which is the only kind of thing they thrive in: fraud.
Any technological, scientific or social discovery males made, they immediately used it to give themselves power and create a bigger gap between rich and powerful, and poor and desolate. Think about the industrial revolution; it destroyed lives of so many women and children set to work in inhumane conditions, caused damage to the health of the poor, and started the damage of the environment that would only get worse to this day. But they consider it a milestone of progress. Then they also invented capitalism, which immediately dictated that any discovery or tool that is created will again, be used only and specifically for profit. In this race they've created conveniences for common people that we are paying for with our mental health, destruction of our environment, our money, and our overall quality of life. Most people at this point, are feeling anxious, concerned and helpless about the state of the environment, if they're not outright ignoring it and hoping it will get better on it's own. But nobody is pointing fingers at who caused this, why we're going trough this. Because women didn't do this.
Giving themselves the right to own and exploit large parts of land, mining it for coal and oil and whatever else they can grab, building machinery that is devastating for the ecosystem, polluting the air, rivers, the sea, the soil. Rain is no longer drinkable. Crops can no longer be trusted not to be poisoned. We are no longer looking at the world where food safety is guaranteed. And all the male world can offer us are distractions; entertainment we pay for by looking at advertisers that try to wrangle more money out of us, while we have no tangible way to undo the massive amount of damage m*n have caused while giving themselves the right to be in charge.
They've proven what they'll do if they're in charge.. M*n are the ones who invented and created the weapons of mass destruction, and they don't feel bad about this, even though it caused devastation and death like hadn't existed on the planet before. They created wars, genocide, terrorism, human trafficking, filmed rape, prostitution, slavery. They're making sure it's ongoing to this day, only because it benefits them, they stand to gain from it.
Meanwhile women were figuring out how to keep the entire population alive, they found the ways to feed, clothe, clean and nurture every human who ever lives. They found ways to create clothing from fibers, and made it from scratch, they figured out how to use natural medicine, they learned philosophy and wrote literature even in times where they were not allowed an education; they were just naturally good at it! They figured out how to do every male job when their males were sent off to war, they've proven to be able to lead a peaceful and safe community while making progress that doesn't create a gap between people, doesn't cause massive damage to the environment, and keeps everyone alive. And every time, m*n just devalued all of it, stole whatever they could from the women in their life, and took everything away, creating laws that would ban women from even participating in anything they wanted for themselves.
Every bit of progress women created was done for the benefit of the people around them, and the people globally around the world. Everything human population benefits from was made by women. And we keep doing it, we keep being better at everything, while they only look for new ways to take the credit and convince us it was in fact, them who did all that.
And we should, what, appreciate male-written literature? We should celebrate male achievements and progress, knowing none of it benefits us, and they will in fact, use every bit of it to keep us subservient and docile? Knowing that they'd rather fund their dumb wars and sports and p*rn and imaginary gambling currency than put money into researching out health and autonomy, so we could stop dying from preventable issues? We should pretend that any male writer and philosopher isn't only below our level but also misogynistic and patronizing? That we couldn't out-think them even as children? We should pretend we can't do m*n's work better than them? That we don't easily overtake them in any field we participate in? That we don't out-do them in medicine, literature, science, exploration, biology, all social fields and then on top of that, that we're not better at everything at home too? We have to pretend we don't see that all they're good at is misogyny, scams, wars and violence? That we can't take credit for our own achievements, and most of the world's beneficial achievements, just because they're too much of a threat for us and retaliate as soon as they can't have everything they want?
I refuse to pretend. I see male progress and I put it in the trash where it belongs. Give me my planet back. Give me back the lands you ruined, the air you polluted, the animal species you drove into extinction, the world where women research medicine and resolve all of our pain, Give me back the planet without a climate crisis. Give me the world where the production of goods isn't sustained by slavery and exploitation, give me the world where overconsumption doesn't exist because it doesn't benefit the population. Give me the world where I'm not under the threat of abuse the second I'm born into a household with a male in it. Give me the world where I am recognized as a human being, and not a servant, incubator, where my health isn't a passing thought, where it's easy for me to inherit and own land, where I'm paid exactly the same as any human, where my last name is passed from my female line, where all of my ancestors and all women in history are given credit for everything they did. You took it all in your greed and you ask us to acknowledge and celebrate you. We have no reason to. Give us back what you took. You had no right to keep it from us.
*
I once read an insightful post in here about how m*n like to claim all of male achievements, but when you ask them what they've personally achieved that was beneficial to the world, they most likely won't have anything useful to say back to you. Then it becomes clear that they're attached to the idea of 'male achievements' only for the sake of sharing credit, as if they're personally responsible for anything good any male did before them. However, if you then try to hold them accountable for every war, genocide, trafficking, enslavement, cults, rape and destruction that males have brought into the world, suddenly you're 'generalizing' and 'don't understand such complex issues'. Interesting isn't it? Credit belongs to them but sharing accountability for the worst atrocities needs to be held far away, as they don't like to be sorted into that group of people all of the sudden.
Women however, don't get to claim the achievements of our predecessors, as we're told there are none; but it's curious how you can't exactly find anything woman made that caused even nearly as much destruction or suffering as male actions. No war was started by a woman, no genocide or act of terrorism. Most rape, violence and murder in the world is done by males. So even if we, the women, were to share credit and responsibility for all that women did in the world, we'd be sharing the credit for the creation and survival of the planet, most of the beneficial achievements and labour, and the incredible amount of injustice done to us. Maybe that's why they don't want us to know or share the credit for it. We'd become aware of how incredibly valuable and irreplaceable we are. Our kind is the source of life and creativity, we find ways to make it trough everything, and achieve progress even when we're actively banned from it. It would feel different to be a woman if you knew this about yourself, at all times of your life.

The reason why people on here immediately get butthurt over the most basic feminist statements is because they’re misogynists lol. That’s it. You can’t read any post by a woman expressing minimal frustration over men because you’re a misogynist. You immediately get mad at basic feminism because you think women talking about their oppression are stupid bitches out to hurt men, just like Rush Limbaugh thought, but you know it’s less socially acceptable on tumblr to outright call women slurs, so instead you try to dress up your knee-jerk anger and woman-hating in progressive buzzwords to pretend you’re actually pro-human rights and not a misogynist because, as I said, this is the anti-feminism website wearing a progressive hat. Losers.

In actual fact, the female function is to explore, discover, invent, solve problems crack jokes, make music – all with love. In other words, create a magic world.

It’s one of patriarchy’s perfect self-perpetuating cycles: the demonisation of older women ensures we do not wish to identify with or learn from them, so cannot gain any knowledge to prepare us for our own experience of ageing. Instead we turn away from our future selves.

On the impact of pornography:
“People want experts. We have experts. Society says we have to prove harm. We have proved harm. What we have to prove is that women are human enough for harm to matter.”

“women used to marry young and have a lot of children” VS “men used to marry women when they were still little girls and force them to be pregnant and give birth their whole life”.
“in the past women didn’t get education” VS “in the past, men stopped women from getting education and excluded them from all cultural spheres”.
“muslim women must wear hijab” VS “muslim men force muslim women wear hijab”.
“in this country, abortion is illegal” VS “men in this country made women getting abortion illegal”.
women’s oppression doesn’t happen by itself. women’s oppression isn’t passive. there is an oppressor class that actively chooses to oppress women, and the oppressor class is MEN.

Man I wish it wasn't classified as transphobic to bring up that a lot of trans women still sort of see trans men as less than. Talking bad about our music, putting down our accomplishments, even saying our jobs are transphobic for hiring us and not them. Transandrophobia is real and i experience is most often from the transfemmes I know personally.
