So I ordered Pizza-la today. I suppose the pizza flavors were somehow tied to the characters. I did not pay attention to that. The pizza was forgettable (but nicer than previous versions they have had).

Oh but speaking of tie-in campaigns, they are doing one with Suntory beverages right now too! So far I've seen an energy drink with either Enmu or Inosuke versions, Pepsi with Tanjiro or Muzan versions, melon soda with Muichiro or Gyokko versions, apple "juice" with Rui or Nezuko (and Kakushi!!!), and CC lemon with Rengoku or Akaza (with punch marks all over it).

So anyway, the pizza comes with a random character clear stand. I've gotten Nezuko and Kanao from previous versions of this campaign, so I was really hoping it would be Mitsuri this time to fit in most nicely with them. But, I also supposed Tanjiro would an acceptable addition who Nezuko and Kanao would both like to work with. But then right before I opened it I thought, "Actually, I kind of hope it's Iguro, that would be so awkward."

Hmm. Well, I suppose Sanemi is an acceptably awkward addition. And from what I've noticed, he seems to be the most popular character in this lineup. I don't think he should be allowed to work in food service looking like that, though.

Anyway. I did not purchase this for pizza. I purchased it for the chaos.

This game.

Is chaos.

And it can take so, so long.

More Giyuu and Mitsuri! for Knyrarepairweek. This time it's from Mitsuri's perspective!

Mitsuri could be a comforting presence to Giyuu, but I think Giyuu's simple honesty through his actions would comfort her as well.

I like that as a female character Daki is both the victim and victimizer because too many times female characters are only allowed to be holy like victims, mothers, care-takers etc or tainted and corrupted except she is both simultaneously. Daki is the little girl who was wronged and exploited and she is the demon who saw that the best use of her acquired power is to hurt others. the two versions as contrasting as they may be make up who she is and the decision to acknowledge one and not the other leads to misunderstanding her character and overlooking her complexity

Daki is capable of great and selfless love towards her brother and is also prone to cruelness and violence the way she treats the little girls or the other courtesans or her victims but it's more than that even the pure version of her is capable of violence and hurt shown by her blinding the samurai because he spoke badly about her brother and the corrupt version of her is capable of softness shown by her choice to go with gyutaro to hell

Both sides of her are interconnected like a river that flows into the sea. the deprivation she experienced in her childhood informs her personality and convictions as a demon, her childishness and brattiness persevere into her adulthood, the seeds of violence are within her and so is love. she is a full and a real human

Hashira First, Spouses Second: The GiyuShino Low-Key Married AU It's just two weak pillars supporting one another. What difference does it make if they get married? From the perspective of canon, not much. They are so low-key about the relationship that not even all the other Hashira know about it. Giyuu and Shinobu promised one another to prioritize their demon slaying missions, but that locus of priority can make it difficult to navigate their roles as spouses. What happens with their missions is of no real concern to the other, right? Maybe they both need to talk more, before they find bigger things to argue about than fictional baby names.

Take it from me, someone who is often suffering at the hands of My Research! Consistent preparation and pushing yourself with active recall and engaging with the material is the best way to prepare for exams.

Don't be like Zenitsu. Cramming the night before a test will only make you risk sleeping in and being late to it.

Don't be like Inosuke. You should consider the exam a test to make you stronger, not something that you prove your current strength by literally demolishing.

Don't be like Tanjiro, either. Exams are important, but don't stress yourself out so much that you attain a mark that kills you by the age of 25.

I made these pancakes this morning (by chance on Mitsuri's birthday)! There are green with matcha and topped with a little honey and dried cherry blossom flakes.

As for more serious plans, I was considering recreating the meal Saburo-ojisan makes for Tanjiro in episode 1, but I don't have the right dishes for the rustic aesthetic. : / I guess if there is something else people want me to introduce, I can try?
