in book 4 or 5 it wouldn’t even shock me if someone like rhi or ridoc or jesenia etc had a sibling/cousin etc they never mentioned and we find out about them because said character is cradling a mortally wounded person screaming for help mid battle or something it just feel very yarros of yarros. nothing shocks me after page 231 of onyx storm 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.

imagine how much relief all the guys who bonded a dragon felt once their signets manifested, only to realise it opens doors to so many new problems.

sawyer often prefers to eat with his hands if he can’t find any wooden cutlery (what if liam used to carve some for him but now he only uses those sets on special occasions 😭).

deep down dain knows if he were anyone else he would likely be killed or imprisoned instead of being like anyone else with a classified signet.

rhi dreads the days she summons something wrong and it hurts her or someone else.

what if ridoc spends hours outside with aotrom practicing wielding ice so it can be melted afterwards because he knows it would just get in the way if he practised near basgiath.

how did imogen discover her signet? what if she feels guilt for all the people she may have had to practice on (how else did she learn to control it if she didnt use people?).

sloane doesn’t like to touch people if she can help it now.

liam would have always known how tired everyone he cared about (especially the marked ones) were all the time. maybe he sometimes couldn’t unfocus his eyes from the far sight and bring it back to normal.
