i’ve been thinking a lot about the idea of fanny morris. the personhood of fanny morris. this is an experimentation with digital manipulation of the images of her, although ideally i would like it to resolve in some kind of fabric or garment as the materiality of her is contained within the distinctive garment which enabled me to pick her out from the crowd within the photographs. i want to maybe redisguise her. i feel like i should protect her, i don’t know her but i care for her through the sheer amount of time i’ve spent with photographs of her.
