Back from hiatus 2 - gif making and stuff

So. I know a big part of my followers started following me because of my gifs. And despite there having been a time when I just didn't have the time, I do love making them. So I'm now gonna get back to that. The one and only problem being I'm not exactly sure what from this season I'm going to concentrate my efforts on. There just isn't anything I'm enjoying as ridiculously much as Railgun S back in the Spring season.

What I'm enjoying the most this season would actually be Kill la KIll, of which there are just so many gifs around I only plan on doing the occasional more elaborated set, and then Little Busters, which is proving to be a better adaptation than what I expected based on the first season.

I plan on making some (probably a lot of, starting tomorrow) gifs out of the PMMM camrip, and I'll pick Little Busters as my show of choice to gif this season. Still, I'm open to suggestions and requests as always (though no one as actually suggest anything, so I wonder about the point of even saying this). So.. any suggestions besides this?

Back from hiatus - Quick reflections on Rebellion

Well. Here's the thing. I'm gonna be honest and say it was almost an excuse to dedicate myself to college and all since I did end up getting spoiled on PMMM before watching the movie anyway. Although thankfully I did manage to go to Paris and watch the thing in theatres.

That's what was in the screen before the movie started. As an interesting fact, this photo was taken with 2% battery on my phone, which is why I took no photos of the huge confusion the theatre got after the movie ended. It was an excellent experience except for the fact everyone was clapping through the entirety of Kimi no Gin no Niwa. That's one heck of an impressive thing, seeing as the song is about 5 minutes long, but I really wanted to listen to it. (Kalafina <3)

As for the movie itself... I actually have mixed feelings about it and not only because of the final twist everyone probably knows about by now. Honestly? I actually thought that was in line with Homura's character. Pretty much natural progression at that point. Not only that but it compliments the concept of balance the series always built up and centered around, as well as the selflessness/selfishness dichotomy. That said, though, it's hard to accept it when you're fully aware of the 'why', which was actually foreshadowed in the movie itself and if you want to take examples from the series, then you definitely can as well, but not of the 'how'. There are actually many theories you can come up with for it, but none are backed by what was shown, which was too vague for me to consider it tight writing, specially not on the level I'm used to from PMMM. Some of the scenes afterwards were also plagued by some clumsy writing, which is a shame after a movie that was actually pretty great. Thankfully, it does end in a good note, the ribbon's scene being one of the best parallels in the movie and a quite well-written one to boot. Overall, I really like the movie and have liked it more the more I thought about it after the first watch. That doesn't change the fact it has a couple of problems that bring it down a good notch below the series, but that I found it worth it to spend 150€ just to go watch it speaks a lot for how I truly ended up enjoying it. And a good contributor to that is the Homura vs Mami fight scene. Believe me, it's every bit as amazing as it was hyped up to be. For that alone I would have deemed the movie worth to watch in the big screen.

TO MY FOLLOWERS: I’m going to be on a hiatus starting today until November 22nd. The reason couldn’t be any more simple: I’m flying to Paris to watch the PMMM movie and I want to avoid absolutely all spoilers until then, so I’m keeping myself out of all online places where I could possibly get spoiled. tumblr being one of them.

So… to make up for that have some Kyubey gifs from the trailers. Like. The same one. But no one cares. Kyubey is a trolling existence by nature. I'm really curious to see what he has on store this time and what this scene is all about, as well as... well, what's up with all the contradictory info the trailers have revealed so far. I'm way too excited to watch this in the theatres.
