Hello! I've added some more dolls to my Etsy shop. These include the Part 4 and Part 6 inspired Jotaro and Kakyoin dolls, made sometime between 2020-2022. Other dolls still available include an older doll I made when I first started crocheting: Princess Tutu and a doll from 2023: Shorter Wong.

Hello! It's been awhile since I posted. I'm selling off a few more of the dolls I've made in the past. This time I'm selling the Banana Fish anime-inspired dolls and one of the very first dolls I ever made: Princess Tutu. You can find all four on my Etsy shop: Hooked on a Good Yarn. I have some more JoJo dolls I'd like to post on Etsy too, but need to find some more boxes first! I also have some leftover crochet mice I made years ago, but will need to find some envelops to mail them in too. All this is to say the shop won't be closing any time soon! "Do you believe in gravity?"

Finally got around to finishing my Enrico Pucci doll from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Part 6: Stone Ocean. Like the other JoJo's dolls, he's made of acrylic yarn, stuffed with polyester fiberfill, and uses two 10mm plastic black safety eyes. I used silver fabric paint to paint on the collar detail. He's about 6 inches in height.

I also had to make Shorter Wong from Banana Fish since he had such a fun design in the anime. I love his purple mohawk. I'm pretty satisfied with how he turned out although I might try making him a smaller pair of sunglasses.

The doll is made from acrylic yarn, polyester fiberfill, and uses 10mm black plastic safety eyes. The sunglasses are made using jewelry wire wrapped in black yarn. I then use black felt for the lenses.

Hi again! Here's a new crochet doll I've finished: Ash Lynx from Banana Fish. I chose to use his anime design for the doll since I had a lot more colored references to work with. I tried to make it look like he had a shirt tied around his waist like in the first episode, but I'm not sure how well I managed to convey that with crochet.

Anyway, the doll is made with acrylic yarn, polyester fiberfill, and 10mm black safety eyes.

Upcoming Projects + Possible Doll Sales

I'm still alive - as my Trigun crochet plushie post proved - and I have some upcoming crochet projects I'm still working on! One I'm almost done with is a crochet doll of Father Pucci from Stone Ocean. After that I've got plans to make crochet dolls based off the anime versions of Ash Lynx and Eiji Okumura from Banana Fish. There's also this Revolutionary Girl Utena Anthy Himemiya doll I've been working on for several years now that I hope to finally get done! After that I'm not sure what projects I'll do.

Since I have quite a few dolls I've made in the past and not enough space to keep them all, I have plans to sell some of the completed dolls I've made using my eBay account. I'll likely make a post when I've listed the dolls. Most are going to be JJBA related. Once I have boxes and shipping supplies I'll likely make a post here on Tumblr of when the dolls are posted for sale. So stay tuned! It's been awhile since I've posted, but I'm back with my finally finished Trigun Maximum dolls!

Both of their looks are based on the manga although Wolfwood's hair ended up looking more like his Trigun Stampede style - oh well! I used more or less the same materials I've used with all my other dolls, except I added Popsicle sticks to Wolfwood's cross to give it a sturdier feel.
