Kind of. I plan to get married, have 3 kids or so, have a dog, travel A LOT, and have a career involving mental illness. But the path to this future is up in the air!

Day 192: summer or winter? Why?

Summer, for sure. Although I'm not too crazy about the really hot temps, the warmer weather is more conducive to traveling and even walking around the block in the evening.

Yes! I am soooo excited for my vacation to Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Las Vegas. I'm leaving in two weeks for 10 days!

I love love love to eat and after eating a sizeable amount, it looks like I'm 4 months pregnant.

I maintained my Michigan hospitality and treat strangers with kindness and respect.

I have a rather strange personality and sense of humor, which I love.

Day 185: where will you be in ten years?

In ten years I'll be 33. Goodness gracious I can't imagine! I hope to be married and have at least one kid, and work as a psych nurse or as a mental health social worker (which would have required me to go back to school!). I hope to have a dog of my own and enough money to travel. I also hope to stay best friends with my current best friend, and to finally erase my insecurities!

Day 184: when you think of your best friend, what is your first memory? How did you meet him or her?

I met by bestie Salena during my first week of classes during undergrad. I asked her to be my roommate for the next year already that next month and we lived together for three years in college and one year post-grad thus far. We've been through thick and thin and I'm honestly glad we took the same bio class for one semester so we could meet!

Day 183: you are told you have one week left to live, how do you spend it?

I would travel to a country I have always wanted to go for the first several days, inviting my friends and family to come with me. I would also do things I've always wanted to do but couldn't find the time for or just never did, like ride in a hot air balloon.

Day 181: how did you spend your last birthday?

My birthday was only 6 days ago, so my parents came down to my apt in Chicago (it was my dad's first time visiting my place!) and we all went to Millennium Park and then to lunch at Flat Top with my roommate as well! We got dessert from Forever Yogurt and bought cupcakes from Crumbs to have after dinner. Then my parents had to leave to go back to MI so my best friend and I continued the celebration without them!

Day 179: how do you feel about discrimination?

I feel this question is juxtaposed with the question I had about cyber bullying last month. Discrimination can be overt and subtle and I don't agree with it, and I'm not sure why any person would agree with it!
