Neck and shoulders: *are stiff*
Me: Okay, let’s do some really mild stretches, and maybe just a little bit of archery to loosen up.
Neck and shoulders: You know what? Fuck you. *tightens up more and adds pain to the mix*

I’m physically angry about how well a Boston Legal/Leverage crossover would work. Alan Shore would absolutely work with a crew of criminals to help a client in a tight spot. They’re both in Boston. And, some points to consider:
Nate as a Jimmy Papadokolis in Clarke Brown’s courtroom
Eliot keeps taking Denny’s guns and disarming them and Denny keeps having more. “How many guns does this guy have?” Eliot finally asks. Alan shrugs.
Denny and Alan discussing with Hardison the possibility of hacking into Shirley’s computer.
Parker stealing Denny and Alan’s cigars.
Denny Crane probably worked a case involving Jimmy Ford back in the 70s.
Related, Nate has definitely heard of Denny before.
Both Alan and Denny hitting on Sophie
In Denny’s case he sees her as various characters and hits on all of them without realizing they’re the same person
As many Star Trek jokes as possible

Best headline I’ve seen this week. Didn’t know “too much fun” is illegal at parades now.
He wanted “ooh, big scary military, look how tough we are, look how much everyone loves me!” and instead he got American-style festivities with soldiers smiling and waving to the crowds, looking like people instead of a faceless war machine, and social media pointing out that they appear to be deliberately marching out of step.

Golf Ensemble
c.1908
This smart golf costume was worn by Heather Firbank (1888-1954). It consists of a masculine flat cap, a tailored jacket based upon a man's Norfolk jacket, and matching skirt. The heavy wool tweed would have resisted snags and pulls, and is further reinforced with brown leather cuffs, collar and buttons. During the late 19th century women began regularly participating in active sports other than riding, including tennis and yachting. John Redfern was one of the first couturiers to design special clothing for the new active woman. His beautifully constructed, practical tailored outfits were adopted as everyday wear by his fashionable clients, including royalty and actresses. Other couturiers and dressmakers followed this lead, creating tailored coat and skirt ensembles which could be worn both on and off the sports field.
Heather Firbank was a beautiful, fashionable young woman who bought expensive high-style clothing from leading London couturiers, including Redfern. She bought this outfit from Frederick Bosworth, a ladies' tailor and Court dressmaker who worked from New Burlington Street. Prior to founding his own business in 1902, Frederick Bosworth Mims had been manager of the London branch of Redfern Ltd.

I wish I could share photos of my town’s No Kings protest on Saturday without doxxing myself, because it’s honestly kind of amazing.
Over 200 people showed up. Over 200 people in a deeply conservative town in deeply conservative Arkansas showed up to protest Donald Trump.
I expected 50 people tops. Instead there were five times that many.
Contrast that with the Trump supporters who came to set up their counter-protest across the street.
Two dozen. A grand total of two dozen old men (and a couple women) in lawn chairs sitting across the road glaring at the crowd protesting the Dear Leader.
Maybe things aren’t so shitty around here after all.

I would dearly love to know what Oklahoma is using their toll money for, because it’s clearly not the roads.

I’m currently people-watching up in the mezzanine during intermission, and I’d like to give a special shout-out to the lady in the green sequined gown and the gentleman with her in the pink tux.
Y’all are adorable, and I hope your date night is going well.
