We were all played. They 100% knew professors could and would let that shit slide. Guaranteed they were just playing our asses to make sure we were well behaved.

You know how lots of cultures, present and historical, have a rule about not naming your children with too ostentatious of a name because you're tempting fate?

There's a kid in the elementary school I'm subbing at this year whose name is Adonis. He's the most troublesome child name of these teachers have ever seen. I can only imagine what his parents are like.
