odysseus absolutely does present a threat to penelope if he perceives her as at all unfaithful, and i feel the unfairness of this, and i think people tend to undersell how much tension at least potentially exists between odysseus and penelope. but i'm also like. his reaction, all speculation aside, his actual reaction in the odyssey to her flirting with the suitors is delight, because he immediately ascertains that she is running a con. sorry that they're so in-sync in spite of the forces that try to drive a wedge between them, including their own misgiving hearts. sorry that they invented homophrosyne ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Disgust rolls in her stomach, the blighted blood in her veins calling out to the creature - the Rover, the other Wardens called it - even as it lay dying before them. Ever since Ghilan'nain's release from Solas's prison, the Song has become harder to ignore, and she does not hear Captain Deshar call for her.

Until another voice joins his, pointed ears perking up in recognition even before she turns around. When she does, in spite of their current surroundings, Jaelle cannot help the surprised smile tugging at her lips, stepping forward before she can stop herself.

"Sylvie!" There's a note of disbelief in her voice, having not heard from her former teacher in years, but the joy at meeting her again is clear. "I had no idea this is where you were."

Sometimes we just want to cut to the chase-- Not saying that every muse relationship needs to be year-long friendships, but we can also skip some casual formalities and assume things.

You are always free to come into my askbox, IMs-- Whatever, to ask me if it's okay for two or more muses to know each other for upcoming interactions. Heck, send me an ask, in character with this in mind, and I'll probably go with the flow!
