May I ask how long you had yellow discharge before it started getting white?

Started heavy nipple stimulation the last few months. One of mine has always been yellow discharge but the other is white

I started getting duct fluid the same week I started but it was just a spec of liquid and has increased. I only noticed a couple of weeks ago that in the morning it has a yellow tinge to it that gets clear by the end of the day - that's in both but righty has always been more active than lefty. I think I get yellow fluid in the morning because I don't pump in the middle of the night!

Different colored fluid/discharge/colostrum is totally normal! Its even normal to have a little bit of blood when first producing milk I found out 😅 just keep going! Consistency is key :)

Falling asleep on the pillow in my lap I have to muffle the noise of my pumps 😊 I haven't tested them but I wonder how long they'd go if I fell asleep with them on 😴

This morning was a little scary but ended up being nothing to worry about 😭🥴

Lefty has always been a smaller and produces way less duct fluid than righty. So imagine my shock when I pull the pump away and see the fluid it did produce had a red tint to it!! 😲 Thankfully I had a Drs appointment this morning (she knows what I'm doing) - she checked me out and we were unable to get it to happen again with hand expressing. She told me it's probably something called "rusty pipe syndrome" and can happen when the ducts are developing and have more blood flow! So as scary as it looked, it was actually a sign of progress 😄

It should go away in a few days and I'll just be sticking to low level massage/stimulation for now. 🤞

I got up to pee and thought I'd try to pump a little since I was up but I only got 6 minutes in before I felt like I was going to fall asleep sitting up 😴

I'll try again but I don't think a midnight pump is going to be routine for me

I've got a good routine down now

10 minutes on stimulation and 10 minutes on suck with the pumps morning and night

Every evening after work I do a slow walk on my treadmill (knee therapy) and I wear the pumps on a low stimulation level for 30 minutes of that.

During the day during slow periods, I find myself massaging my breasts without thinking and that keeps the blood flow there 😅

I do tend to wake up midnight to pee and I've been debating on a short pump session then but I've been so tired that just hasn't happened - maybe this week I'll start that.

Still just getting duct fluid, slightly yellow in the morning. So 🤞🤞🤞

These little suckers are so small and comfortable that I forgot about them and left them on all morning and now my nipples are too sensitive to put my shirt back down 🫠

Maybe I'll wear them the rest of the day until it's time to pump 😘
