Who's the most profilic horse artist?
I'm not entirely sure, it would likely have to be someone who specialised in painting horses like Munnings or Stubbs. The problem is though that there are and have been a lot of artists like that. Another related issue is that there are plenty of lesser or more regionally known artists who could fit the brief but by virtue of being less widely known would get passed over. Nils Kreuger for example was a very prolific horse painter but is not that well known outside of Scandinavia. Chances are you can probably discount artists like Rosa Bonheur who did paint a lot of horses but in addition to a wide variety of other animals.
I feel like answering this question probably requires an in depth study involving large databases.
