OK THE TRAINEES YOU'VE KNOWN ABOUT FOR ONLY A FEW HOURS BUT SUDDENLY YALL KNOW EVERYTHING BOUT THEM, BUT YALL BARWLY KNOW ANYTHING BOUT KUN BTVJ WHERE IS DA JUSTICE
qian kun was born in january 1st, 1996. he’s from fujian, china. he LOVES cats. in fact, the only thing he loves more than cats are airplanes!!!! apparently he likes to take pictures of airplanes whenever they pass above him. when he was little he wanted to be an astronaut. he’s a magician!!! though that is something most of us know!! he seems to be REALLY good at sleight of hand magic. and he gets this extremely proud smirk whenever he completes a trick it’s rlly hot just a side note. he has not debuted in an official unit yet, but many of us are anticipating his debut in nct’s rumored china unit. he is a very patient and kind man, never showing resentment for what little exposure he gets (unlike many nctzens). he only seems to be thankful for the chances he gets, seizing any opportunity to do his best. he’s also quite possibly the most nurturing member, as there is never a moment where he isn’t taking care of another member.
just because sm hasn’t given us the opportunity to know as much as we would like about kun, doesnt mean there aren’t things we can’t pick up.it’s not our fault that sm won’t give him the exposure we want him to have.
me supporting three rookies who may or may not be in nct has nothing to do with how much attention i’m giving to kun. it’s completely possible to love every single member and/or potential member(s) equally.
don’t make people feel guilty for something sm has done. we are allowed to support the rookies just as much (or, heaven forbid, even more) as we support kun. i highly doubt kun, nct’s biggest fan, is going to get upset for us giving every new member support.

mr. detective (namjoon fanfic)
“So they really are re-opening your dad’s case?” Tae asked over a cup of coffee.
She nodding, “They found some new evidence.”
When she returned to her small shared apartment, she decided to work on some school work before the detective came over. Sometime later a knock on the door was heard, she got up from her pile of work to answer the door. She expected to see an older man, ready to ask her questions regarding her father, but instead she was met by a man around her age.
“Hello Ms. Wang, i’m detective Kim Namjoon with Seoul PD. i’m here to discuss things with you regarding your fathers death back in 2007.”
She led him to the living room, moving her things out of the way. The detective sat across from her, “I’m supposed to inform you that we have found some new evidence that suggests that your fathers death might have been murder.
Namjoon was ready to get her some tissues, but she had no tears, her face remained emotionless.
“Detective,” she began, “I got called out of school to come home to my mother, in tears, sitting with police officers informing her how they found my father's body in a motel in Busan, 330 kilometers from home, when he was supposed to be in Ulsan for work. The detectives said they found traces of some sort of drug in his system, which is what caused him to overdose and go into cardiac arrest. My family was ridiculed, my mother and i were evicted from the house my father left us because wherever my mother tried to get a job they turned her away because no one wanted to hire the widow of a dead druggie. So i had hoped this day would come, where someone would have finally listened to what i had been saying.”
He sighed, “I don’t know what to tell you, all i know is that we are going to be looking into it.”
“What exactly did you find?”
“Last week a lake had to be drained because someone went missing and their last known whereabouts were near the area where you father was found. So they found a safe and in it was about 500 million won and a locket,” he said, reaching into his jacket.
He pulled out a plastic bag and in it was the locket. When she reached to take it from him, he retracted his hand, “I’m sorry but I can’t give it back to you just yet. It’s going needs to go through forensics to get tested for prints.”
She frowned, “But i’ll see if i can get it to you as soon as possible.”
She led the detective to the front door, “Thank you very much for your patience, I can’t imagine what you are thinking of at the moment, but I will try to make this a smooth process and I will also try to get that locket back to as quick as i can.”
“Thank you. I appreciate your honesty and your hard work,” she smiled.
He handed her his card before he left, “In case anything happens.”
“How’d it go with the detective?” Yoongi asked during their weekly video chat.
“It went well, i thought it was going to be some older guy, but it turned out to be this tall and handsome guy around my age,” she chuckled.
“Ooh really, what’s his name, maybe i know him,” yoongi asked.
Yoongi, her best friend for as long as she can remember, had gotten a job offer in Japan as head of detective. He couldn’t refuse the offer so after a sad goodbye the two were seperated, agreeing on weekly updates through skype.
“Kim Namjoon,” she said.
“Namjoon, I actually know him. We worked on a case a few months ago, can’t say about what, but he was there. You are right he is good looking,” he showed her his gummy smile.
“Shut up,” she laughed.
“No but really how did it go? How are you feeling?”
“It went fine, really it did. Look, i don’t want to talk about it, so tell me about your day,” she sighed.
“She was beautiful, Hoseok, I’m telling you, beautiful,” Namjoon gushed to his friend.
“I’m sure she was, but do you think it’s appropriate for you to have those feelings for her when you working on her father’s cold case.”
“You know I hate it when you are right.”
“Wait, you know what i just remembered,” Yoongi said right before he ended their call.
“Hm,” she hummed.
“Namjoon’s dad is the police commissioner, but he was also the detective that was in charge of your dad’s case.”
“Wait, really?”
“Mhm, you should bring it up the next time you see him,” yoongi suggested,
After she ended the call with yoongi she laid in bed, contemplating whether she should bring it, was it worth it? She pulled out the card he handed her right before he left, she dialed his number, but got no answer.
The next morning she woke up with the intention to go see Detective Namjoon and ask him about his father and if what yoongi told her was true. The bus ride there was no problem, it was the part of getting into the precinct. There were many police officers, some of them stopped what they were doing to stare at her, “What brings a beautiful girl to a place like this?”
She turned to see an officer leaning against the wall, she didn’t miss the way his eyes seemed to scan her appearance, from her head to her toes. She rolled her eyes, “I’m looking for Detective Namjoon?”
“Oh Namjoon-hyung?” he said straightening up a the mention of the man.
“Yeah, do you know where i can find him?” she asked.
“Oh, Natalie-ssi,what are you doing here?” a voice asked.
She turned to see Detective namjoon walking up to her and the officer across her. He crossed his arms when he took in the appearance of the officer leaning against the wall, “Jimin-ah, is there something I can help you with?”
The officer, Jimin, shook his head, “I was just seeing what she needed.”
“Oh, right. Well, i can handle it from here, thank you.”
The detective led her to his office, he held out her seat for her and offered her something to drink, “No thank you.”
“So what brings you here?”
“A friend of mine informed me that your father is the commissioner, and he so happened to be the detective in charge of my father’s case during the time.”
His eyes widened, “How did you...that’s supposed to be classified.”
She shrugged, “Why didn’t you inform me about that? How do i know you won’t be covering up for your father’s mistakes?”
He got up from where he was sitting on his desk and bent down to her level so they were face to face. He looked her dead in the eyes, “I would never cover up any mistakes, whether it is my own or my fathers. You can, no, you need to trust me when I say I will give your father the justice you and your family deserve.”
She was taken aback, when she and her mother were going through the process of her father’s death, none of the officers or the detectives that visited her house ever told her that. They all gave her family dirty looks or they cursed at her mother for allowing her father to become that man.
“Have you eaten lunch yet?” he asked, breaking the tension.
“No, I haven’t,” she said.
“Would you like to eat with me?”
They to a restaurant, small, but nonetheless packed with people. The line went out the door, a small crowd forming outside. Not wanting to lose her in the crowd, Namjoon grabbed her wrist and led them to the front.
“Uh, not sure if you noticed or not but there is a crowd of people waiting outside,” she sassed as she tried to stop him.
“Not to sound like an asshole, but not sure if you know who I am.” he said.
She scoffed, “Pft.”
“I’m joking, I know the owner. He’s a friend of mine,” he laughed.
They finally made it to the front desk, “Ah, Taehyungie! Table for to please.”
“Namjoon hyung, a table for two right away,” he winked, “I’ll call hyung.”
Still holding hands, the two followed the silver haired boy. They (read: sadly) had to let go of each others hands so they could sit down across from each other. Their waiter, Taehyung, handed them a menu and left to go call his hyung.
“So what do you think of ordering,” namjoon asked her.
“What would you suggest?” she asked, scanning over the menu.
Namjoon was about to answer when another voice cut him off, “i suggest the black bean noodles, they are my favorite.”
She looked up from the menu to lock eyes with a gorgeous man. Her jaw dropped slightly, “Oh, hyung! This is natalie-ssi, natalie-ssi this is SeokJin, the owner of this restaurant.”
“Uuh, h-hi, I’m Natalie,” she stuttered as she extended an arm to shake.
Seokjin smirked as he captured her small hand in his, bringing it up to his plump lips and gently placing a kiss to the top of it, lips lingering there for a moment.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” he said.
Her face felt hot, “Stop it hyung, you are making her uncomfortable,” Namjoon said from across the table, with a frown.
“Oh, am I making you uncomfortable?” Jin asked her.
“No, not at all. It’s nice to get this kind of attention from a handsome guy,” she blushed.
“What? Don’t you get this all the time?”
She shook her head, a dramatic gasp escaped his lips, “You’re kidding! What about your boyfriend, doesn’t he shower you with attention?”
Namjoon groaned as his friend flirted with the girl, “Boyfriend? I don’t have one.”
“Wow, that is surprising. How can a beautiful girl like yourself be single? If I was your boyfriend, I would treat you like the princess you are,” he said the last part quietly so only she could hear.
“God just ask her out already, hyung!” namjoon whined.
Seokjin rolled his eyes, “How about a date?”
She nodded, “I’d love that.”
Jin gave her his number before he had to run off to the kitchen, “Can’t wait to see you then Miss Natalie!”
She sighed contently, “I’m glad I showed up at the station.”
Namjoon wished he had picked another spot to each lunch. He didn’t expect this happen, but he doesn’t blame Jin-hyung, natalie is breathtaking. He just wished he could have pulled the first move on her, so it could be him taking her on a date not his hyung.
“So you said yes?” yoongi asked during their daily check ups.
She nodded excitedly, “I said yes. You would understand if you saw what he looked like yoongs. He looked like he was sculpted by the gods themselves.”
Yoongi sighed, “Doubt it, i mean i get why you might have high standards when oppa looks this good huh.”
She laughed as she pulled up a picture on her phone from jin’s instagram, “Look.”
It was silent as she watched yoongi observe the picture she showed him, “I’m gay,” he declared.
“Yoongi, I was the first person you came out to. Nine years ago,” she laughed once more.
“Ok, but in my defense i thought you were exaggerating.”
“Touche,” she nodded.
