I woke up this morning with scratches running down my arm. My door was locked all night, so it couldn't have been my cat. I'm starting to think it might be Host in some way, but I'm not sure.

It has been acting a lot weirder lately- I'll post another update once I get the 2nd Time Stone.

Holy shit guys-

Getting the first time stone fixed it. I was able to move on to Act 2

I don't know why it forced me to get the crystal, but I got to move on to another act so I'm not complaining

Just a simple playthrough of the first act, edited down so I didn't dox myself. There was honestly nothing past the special stage, it just booted me out

Honestly, most horrifying thing is my terrible Sonic skills-

Also, for some reason while in-game there was this weird distortion effect. Not sure what caused it but eh, whatever

So turns out, every time I open the game, it locks me in and won't let me leave. None of the buttons to end the program work, and I can't access outside apps. The exit game button is the only thing I can use, but even then something just feels wrong, like the game never really closes. Always open, always there

I'll try to get a recording of the game by booting up OBS before opening, but I don't know if it'll corrupt the recordings or not

Guess there's only one way to find out

Finally got around to making that blog. I'll be working on playing and restoring Host, since parts of the game seem just. . . off. I mean it is still Sonic CD but it just feels weird. Unfinished. Buggy.

weird experience i had today

i was looking at my old files to find some old, goofy ass nostalgic stuff right, cuz i like going on nostalgia trips, and i found a weird folder that i didn't recognize

it's just called host, and all that's inside is what appears to be sonic cd, also just labelled as host.

i never did have the game on pc though

just a bit of a weird moment, huh

i'll post more updates i find about the game, cuz something in my little lore hunter brain tells me there's more going on also probably will put updates to a side blog because the bayonetta and cult of the lamb brainrot is *strong* (i have more bayo n cotl projects i'm working on, don't want sonic bumping in in the middle of it, y'know?)
