"Ahh, I understand now. I accept your apology." Hayden took a swallow from her glass. "New?" She laughed. "To town, yes. So yes to both, I suppose. I'm just here for a short period." She motioned a tanned hand to the empty chair across from herself. "Would you care to sit?"

"Actually yes, when I think they look like a close and dear friend of mine but now I understand the striking difference between them. Though I am sorry to bother you." Ariel says with a bit of a smile, eyeing the woman over. “Are you new to town? Or have I just not run into you yet?"

"Hayden Grey." She responded lightly, extending her cooled hand.  "Lovely to meet you Randy. Perchance, have you a last name to go with those brawny muscles?"

"Hello." She greeted. "Have you some particular business, or is this merely a chance encounter?" Hayden offered a warm, cordial smile. "Regardless, you'd best introduce yourself."

"Generally speaking the owner comes around the tables at this sort of place. Do you normally approach strangers while their eating?" Hayden replied with a mostly good-natured tone. She was dining alone in the upscale restaurant for the night, and had been eyeing the delicious maitre d', who happened to pass just behind the interrupting brunette as she entered when their eyes met and began this awkward encounter.

"This is your establishment, is it not?"

The brunette narrows her eyes at the blonde for a moment before they turned back to full orbs. “It’s not… I own a bookstore not a restaurant." Ariel states. “But if you need a book I am happy to help when you come in."

Character development time! Give me some interesting questions about my character and I will answer.

"Have I offended the good sir?" She played. Hayden covered her mouth until he finished redressing to stop laughing. He wasn't shy about his body, obviously realizing he had an excellent form, but it wasn't of great concern to her. She had seen god's bodies after all. Literally. "The good sir has not indulged me at all." The silver stars dotted in her eyes twinkled in amusement. He was clearly not used to such discomfort. so it was difficult for her to stop teasing him. He appeared to have such pride. 

Number 12

"Oh, shut up." He scoffed, grabbing his clothes and armor off the ground and quickly redressing. It wasn’t something he did everyday. There was something about disrobing in front of others that seemed so…Undignified. Of course he knew how brilliant his physical appearance was, but it was something he only shared with those he deemed worthy. Also, it usually had nothing to do with a command. “It is hard to explain these circumstances. I do not wish to indulge you any further, however."

Number 12

Sesshomaru glowered at the woman with an unrelenting gaze, removing his cuirass. He slipped out of his kimono and it revealed pearl skin and chiseled features. Silver hair streamed down his bare back as he removed his pants and stood bare before her. Even without an arm, the sight of him was perfection. Such sight has been viewed by few. Still, this was unbelievably unpleasant for the great demon, Sesshomaru.

Hayden's rosy lips curled into a tight, cheeky smile as she suppressed a chortle at his dignified strip. "Are you always this serious?" She asked sardonically, laughter spilling off her tongue in bursts as she tried to control it. "You've nothing I've not seen as of yet, my milky demon." She tossed his kimono back at him. "If you were hoping for a show in return, you're sorely mistaken. Although from that glare, I'd say you lost a bet to a ex-friend." The glowingly tan woman stared at him, awaiting an explanation.

"Well..." That was always a complicated question. "She appears about six, but I only had her over the summer. Her growth is accelerated because of who I am." She explained.

Ariel smiles. “How old is she?” she inquires, Ariel loved children and had always wanted one of her own..but she never could..not with being what she was.
